Last few days, have been a mind changing phase in my life. I have visited, seen and learn many new things over these days. I never expected to see or able to experince them. From botany to machine , in other words from natural gifts in the form of different flowers to how human have revolutionized themselves at technological front. Infact technology have taken over most of the human job. Either call it a curse or a way to ease out the manual interference for higher productivity. Once such example that I witness was the Clothing Printing Machine.
Thanks to my unexpected unplanned visit to Bharatex 2024 expo, I able to learn many things about the garmet sector. From thread to cloth, there were many learning phase. Visiting such places is alwsys introduxes us with something new. Also it allows us to meet people, see the innovative concepts and more over help.in making friends. As it happened to me, I met a guy who came to attend the expo From a different state of India. We met and develop a unique friendship. Belonging from a clothing business unit he give me good insight about the expo and the innovation thatbwas showcased at the place.
What more inspiring was the way he explained me various things related to clothing industry. The first things he let me know was the clothing printing unit. It is sheer example of Indias technological advancement. And how bigger printing machine were influxed into these sector. I never seen them before. Infact, I only knew about the computer printing untill I saw these.
These cloth printing machine works very in line with the way our computer printer works. Same color combination, justge difference, they work on a larger piece od cloth as compaired to computer paper. The guy I met at the expo was fully aware about these printing techniques and explained me all its ifs and bits. The printing job has now get too simple. They just need to feed the printer machine with a specific design through a pen drive and the machine carry out the printing task just like we see in our inkjet printers
This is digitization at the best. The Modern digital fabric printing differs from traditional printing techniques. In this new technoque the machine eliminates the need for plate making, plate printing, and repetitive color registration. With digital printing, only one printer and an ordinary computer are required, and a single operator can independently carry out the entire printing process. I once saw the traditional block printing works that were carried out manually. But looking at these seems printing job is much easier now a days.
The one displayed over the exp were the Direct to fabric printers print that directly done the printing onto the fabric. It works exactly like our computer printer. Just feed the instruction and gets the desired output. From polyesters and blends to natural fibers such as silks, cotton, linen, wool, and rayon. These machine can easily take care of every printing needs.
We might have seen the smaller printing set up that carter the need to printing logs, or design on t shirts of shorts. But having seeing these bigger piece mastering the art of fabric printing is a unique experince. Isn't it fascinating to learn the difderrnt naunches that surrounds us at the time digitization. Digital world's brings so many unique innovation that a common man are not aware of.
Simply my visit does not get wasted, as it let me to meet a nice person, and also I learned various fabric printing process. The cost of set up does require a heavy investment. But it does makes life and work far more easier.
