Well! My today's travel story goes to Lembang, an exotic place that is well known across Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Actually, it happened two years ago when I was sent to Bandung to participate in the meetup. It was fun trip anyway, I took a flight from Kualanamu, Medan to Hussein Kartanagera Airport, it was about three hours flight. Bandung is also nicknamed with Paris Van Java for it has rich in fashion.
Having known that Lembang is the place that offer you various way to enjoy your holiday. I and my friends made a good point to explore this spot. It is largest tourist spot that would take us from the way in to the places we love to go. Lets say, Floating Market, Culinary Spot, Culture Display and a lot of interesting stuff that we need to see.
Perhaps, we choiced a wrong day to head to this spot which troubled us with the traffic. Soon we entered the Lembang city, the street was already crowded by vehicles and of course we needed the plan B to get away from this problem. So, we stepped out the car and walked to our destination. It was around 2 kilometers away but it was okay because we reached this place safe and sound.
Sure thing, you got to pay for entrance ticket IDR.15000-25000. Aha! Yes! You have to exchange your paper money with the coin if you want to buy a stuff around this spot.
I did change some coins in case I need to buy a thing. To get the north spot, we had to pass down the concrete stairs that led us to the place I wanted to go. First thing first, we went to the Floating Market where I could see the unique way of selling stuff from the boats.
We did not worry about how to reach the place, there was a sign there that led us to the place that you wished to hit.
From one stair to another stair with others visitors which I believe, they also wanted to go floating market.
I didn't buy this stuff, I just look around and amazed with the way they made them up. The traditional puppets that were displayed here as the way to promote the local culture.
I also amazed with these stuff, the wooden tigers roar were lining along the booth.
This is me, standing in front of Chinese giant fan near the little lake. We managed to get the photos here as to remember that I have been here. Apparently, a lot of people also did the same.
Well, this is not the passenger boat, it was designed with the chinese style so it was there for display. I could see the little name beyond this lake, "Floating Market" mean we were getting close to our distination.
Horee! We finally arrived at floating market. Oh My! I starved and I had to grab something to eat. So here the place when we could taste the local food. The owner of food booth would please you to sit in front of them to watch what they were doing with your order.
Or you can pick a seat away from the booth, but believe me, this place was overcrowded so you have to wait until they move away.
It is seen two buyers want to buy or order something. As you can see, most of these boats were floating.
What a day! We returned to the hotel before the dark. Our driver patiently waited outside and we straightly hopped in. At 20.00 we arrived at the hotel. I promised to return to this spot someday.
