What a beautiful Saturday we had this past weekend. Never in my wildest dreams did I foresee temperatures soaring up to 29 degrees Celsius for this part of the world at the end of March. It truly felt like a summer day, and I spent almost all of it outdoors, clad in nothing more than shirts and a t-shirt.
Yesterday, I indulged in what some call a "cheat meal," opting for pizza. While my town offers relatively decent pizza options, the situation improves greatly 25 kilometers away.
While I don't have photo evidence of my meal, I do have some stunning photos of the Teodor Costescu Palace of Culture in Drobeta Turnu Severin, Romania. The building's grandeur is astonishing to me, and though I didn't venture inside, I managed to capture its majestic exterior from various angles.
Built in 1912 at the initiative of Teodor Costescu, the edifice is imposed by monumentality and elegance, by arranging the details that embroider the building in neoclassical style. In 1924, the Palace of Culture entered the public circuit with a library, a cinema,a restaurant,a performance hall ( with a unique rotating scene in the country at that time ),a festivities salon, and a museum.
It currently operates for the benefit of society with a view to developing a community always present in its actions, by enhancing the cultural heritage under its administration ( organization of permanent or temporary exhibitions within the institution ), organization of cultural events, renting spaces held in the administration of individuals / legal entities, involving by specific means the public of all categories in an educational system designed to familiarize it with the cultural environment both at national level, as well as internationally. The building is declared a UNESCO.

My exploration of this magnificent edifice was limited to its exterior. I would relish the opportunity to attend an event there, perhaps next Christmas if they host anything. Who knows...
Nevertheless, the place is a spectacle for photography enthusiasts. I snapped a few smartphone pics of its surroundings, but with a professional camera, I could have delved deeper into its intricacies. That's for sure.
Jumping to today, the weather is a whole different story. Instead of nearing 30 degrees Celsius, we're greeted with temperatures around 17, and the sky is cloaked in clouds. I suppose yesterday's chemtrails did their job. However, that doesn't mean I won't step out and enjoy some fresh air.
In fact, that's exactly what I'm about to do as I finish typing this post. I also plan to indulge in a bit of ping-pong today. That's all from my side for now. Anyways, I wish you all a fantastic Sunday ahead, and until next time, take care!
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
