My wife and me are on a holiday trip on an island on the west coast of france: Noirmoutier en L'ile

Our Campingplace

We found a nice campingplace called "Hutopia Noirmoutier"
At the beginning we had a pitch at the seaside:

A few days later we had to move to another pitch, because we didn't reserve it:

The Villages

The town Noirmoutier is a nice small touristic harbour village, which can be reached by foot from the camping place:

The next village, L'Herbaudiere, is also reachable by foot. It is in the northwest of the island. One can see the open ocean from it:

A Long Foot Walk

Today my wife and me walked all in all about twenty kilometers (I started tracking later, so it looks a bit less):

There are a lot of salt fields:

Our goal was the coast of L'Epine:

We had a nice picnic there.
At the end of the day I had blisters on my feed.
