A few days ago, I went to the city of Aksaray, which is 500 km away from where I am, to buy my first car. My time was very limited. I did not have the opportunity to visit the touristic places of the city, but the city center attracted my attention.

Birkaç gün önce ilk arabamı almak için bulunduğum yere 500 km uzaklıkta bulunan Aksaray şehrine gittim. Zamanım oldukça kısıtlıydı. Şehrin turistik yerlerini gezmeye fırsat bulamadım fakat şehir merkezi oldukça dikkatimi çekti.

The center was built quite nicely. The clock tower built in the town square looked quite beautiful. There was a mosque nearby. Around the clock tower were old buildings. These buildings were used by state institutions.
Türkiye'nin orta kesiminde bulunan şehrin
merkezi oldukça güzel inşa edilmişti. Şehir meydanında inşa edilmiş saat kulesi oldukça güzel görünüyordu. Yakınlarda bir cami vardı. Saat kulesinin etrafında ise eskiden kalma binalar vardı. Bu binalar devletin kurumları tarafından kullanılıyordu.
The square wasn't just for people. The main decoration of this square was the pigeons that did not leave here. They didn't run away from me when I approached them. We managed to become friends with them.
Meydan sadece insanlara ait değildi. Bu meydanın asıl süsü buradan ayrılmayan güvercinlerdi. Yanlarına yaklaştığımda benden kaçmadılar. Onlarla dost olmayı başarmıştık.
After fulfilling my purpose of coming to the city, it was time to leave. While I thought I left those beauties behind, I came across something much more beautiful. Dominating the whole plain with its majesty, the white-capped mountain seemed to be waving at me.
Şehre gelme amacımı gerçekleştirdikten sonra ayrılık vakti gelmişti. O güzellikleri arkamda bıraktığımı düşünürken çok daha güzel bir şeyle karşılaştım. Heybetiyle tüm ovaya hakim olan beyaz şapkalı dağ, sanki bana el sallıyordu.
