In my short family vacation I had the opportunity to visit the city of Carúpano, located in Sucre state, this is a fantastic place completely worthy of admiration. The first thing that thrilled me when I arrived to the city, was to visit the recreational, cultural and sports park "Don Rafael Montaño", the beautiful view and the smell of the sea generated a great awakening of feelings and memories of my childhood, as when accompanied by my parents we enjoyed the carnival on the shores of the beach and tasted fried fish with patacones and shredded salad. So, immediately when I read the warning letters that referred to the city "Carúpano", I could not help but feel nostalgic, I had already many years without visiting this sea, without feeling the glorious sea breeze that had filled my soul with joy and that created at that moment a big swirl in my hair making it a kind of bird's nest hahaha....

Between the smell of the sea, the sea breeze, or the view of the immensity of the sea, each of these elements came together and invited me to walk around the extensive park, in which there is also an acoustic shell of popular name "the boquete" where artists of national and international stature are presented, and is that precisimante this place is where the international carnivals of the city of Carúpano are celebrated, which are valuarte of the gentilicio carupanero. In addition, in the recreational park Don Rafael Montaño there is an open air gymnasium for the enjoyment and recreation of the sportsmen of the city, also diverse games and mechanical apparatuses for the enjoyment of the smallest of the house, without a doubt this a park thought for the recreation and leisure of big and small.

The strip that divides Costa is contained by a cliff, and the more you walk along this strip you can observe the low sea level and the wonderful horizon. The beach is quite close, and there is little space between the cliff and the sand, it is impossible not to want to go into the sea, however, this turns out to be a little dangerous due to the height and only fishermen have access to this area. It is inevitable not to feel alive when walking along this boardwalk, sitting on top of the rocks and being so close to the sea cliff is a feeling of vertigo and adrenaline at an indescribable level. Also, the boardwalk has its emblem, a fishing boat anchored to its shore that has not been removed for many years and that makes us reference that we are in a fishing area.

The carnival festivities are about to be enjoyed in the city. However, there is no float or entertainment that can compete with the emblematic and enigmatic that is the boardwalk of the city of Carúpano located in the recreational park "Rafael Montaño" only a walk will be enough to appreciate all the greatness and kindness that our creator had to give the people of Carúpano and us visitors, the most beautiful view of an extraordinarily exceptional natural place, and where you can enjoy recreational activities, sports, cultural and visual attraction.

Mis vacaciones por la ciudad de Carúpano, visita al parque recreacional "Don Rafael Montaño"

En mis cortas vacaciones familiares tuve la oportunidad de visitar la ciudad de Carúpano, ubicada en el estado Sucre, este es un lugar fantástico completamente digno de admiración. Lo primero que me emoción al llegar a la ciudad, fue visitar el parque recreacional, cultural y deportivo "Don Rafael Montaño", la hermosa vista y el olor a mar me generó una gran despertar de sentimientos y recuerdos de mi infancia, como cuando acompañada de mis padres disfrutábamos del carnaval en las orillas de la playa y degustabamos pescado frito con patacones y ensalada rallada. Así que, de inmediato cuando leí las letras de aviso que hacían referencia a la ciudad "Carúpano", no pude evitar sentirme nostálgica, tenía ya muchos años sin visitar este mar, sin sentir la gloriosa brisa marina que tanto había llenado de alegría mi alma y que creaba en ese momento un gran remolino en mi cabello haciéndolo de él una especie de nido de pájaros jajaja...

Entre el olor a mar, la brisa marina, o la vista de la inmensidad del mar, cada uno de estos elementos se unían y me invitaban a recorrer todo el extenso parque, en el también se encuentran una concha acústica de nombre popular "el boquete" donde se presentan artistas de talla nacional e internacional, y es que precisimante este lugar es donde se festejan los carnavales internacionales de la ciudad de Carúpano, que son valuarte del gentilicio carupanero. Además, en el parque recreacional Don Rafael Montaño se encuentra un gimnasio a cielo abierto para el disfrute y la recreación de los deportistas de la ciudad, también diversos juegos y aparatos mecánicos para el disfrute de los más pequeño de la casa, sin duda alguna este un parque pensando para la recreación y esparcimiento de grandes y pequeños.

La franja que divide Costa está contenida por un acantilado, y mientras más recorres está franja puedes observar lo bajo del nivel del mar y el maravilloso horizonte. La playa está bastante cerca, y queda poco espacio entre el acantilado y la arena, es imposible no querer adentrarse al mar, sin embargo, esto resulta ser un poco peligroso debido a la altura y sólo los pescadores tienen acceso a esto zona. Si llevas niños a esta visita, debes tener muchísima precaución y siempre llevarles tomados de la mano en esta parte del parque donde el mar se une con el borde del acantilado. Muchas familias visitan este parque y todas toman las precauciones pertinentes según los accesos a las diversas área del parque.

Uno de los lugares más enigmáticos del parque es el malecón, un lugar con una muralla de rocas naturales que hace una especie de rompe olas y que impide el paso del mar al parque. Este lugar es fenomenal, la naturaleza es maravillosa y de caminata por el malecón puedes disfrutar de pequeñas gotas de agua que van cayendo en tu piel proveniente del mar mientra la muralla natural hace su trabajo de romper las olas. Es inevitable no sentirte vivo al caminar por este malecón, sentarte en lo más alto de las rocas y estar tan cerca del acantilado del mar es una sensación de vértigo y de adrenalina a un nivel indescriptible. También, el malecón tiene su emblema, un barco pesquero anclado a su orilla que no ha sido removido desde hace muchísimos años y que nos hace referencia de que nos encontramos en una zona pesquera.

Las festividades carnestolendas están próximas a disfrutarse en la ciudad. Sin embargo, no existe ninguna carroza o diversión que pueda competir con lo emblemático y enigmático que es el malecón de la ciudad de Carúpano ubicado en el parque recreacional "Rafael Montaño" solo bastará de una caminata para apreciar toda la grandeza y la bondad que tuvo nuestro creador para regarle al gentilicio carupanero y a nosotros los visitantes, la más hermosa vista de un lugar natural extraordinariamente excepcional, y donde se puede disfrutar de actividades recreativas, deportivas, culturales y de atracción visual.
