Yesterday we planned to go to a sunflower farm. My wife had seen Instagram photos so we decided to go there. It was an hour drive away from our house. North Richmond area. Going towards the mountainy side of Sydney. Forecasted for 80 % chance of rain. So we had to hurry.
We arrived just before the rush of people coming for the day. We had hoped it was going to be a quiet time because of the high chance of rain.
Passing through the entry tent, I asked if I could fly my drone. The guy said because this was a commercial transaction area (the farm) they were bound to government rules and only time to fly a drone was when no other people were on the field. Plus. They charge 500 bucks an hour! Ripoff.
I had thought the sunflower field was goin to be like the Netflix show "The Secret Diary". What do you think?
It's always about the seeds for me to I took 4 stems of fully grown sunflowers. They were massive size. I didn't take a comparison shot because the girls were busy doing their Gram shots.
We had arrived at 9.30 am so there wasn't that many people yet but we could see them at the side of the road already arriving in droves so it was good we left the house early even when it was raining at our area.
Those gram shots.
Of course my gram shots are more like these.
Then of course you also got to have that setting in place with poses to match.
