Chain bridge in front, Parliament building covered in sunlight on the right and Margaret island on the left
Hello to all my friends and followers on this platform, it's good to talk to you again! :) I just came back from a six day road trip to Prague in beautiful Czech republic with few of my great friends. Along the way we stopped at some must visit spots like Budapest, Karlovy Vary and Brno. We had a wonderful time in these extraordinarily beautiful places so let's dive in and look at some of the moments I captured with the camera.
The first stop is Budapest - it is a 4-hour car drive away from Belgrade and about third of the way between Belgrade and Prague. It is the city I'm very familiar with. This was the 7th time I'm visiting it, truly a city that has made me fall in love with it and return often.
Needless to say everyone in the group was mesmerized as we walked through the famous areas of the city. In part due to beautiful architecture and clean parks, but mostly because of the relaxed vibe that spreads among people and through the streets.
Having been there multiple times, I've taken the role of a tour guide and made sure the friends get to visit the must-see standout spots. Those include the magnificent Parliament building, Buddha castle and Fisherman's bastion on the hill, Margaret island and of course crossing as many bridges as possible.
The oldest and most famous Chain bridge is still under construction and closed to pedestrians so we could only watch it from the distance. We started at the St. Stephen's basilica, crossed the Elizabeth bridge and climbed the Buddha hill on the other side.
As you know, I always focus on street photography, especially at the places I've visited often. So I'm always on the lookout for interesting human subjects. Hope you enjoy this first part of the trip. Next time we're closing things off in Budapest and heading to Karlovy Vary. :) Stay tuned.
