Hello everyone! Those who follow me will have noticed that in the last two years I have been exploring Trentino Alto Adige and in particular I have often returned to the Castello Tesino area.
The reason is simple, it only takes an hour by car to get there from where I live, and it is a very diverse area that offers many possibilities for excursions.
In this post I will tell you about the time I left without a specific destination to further explore the surroundings of Castello Tesino.

Ciao a tutti! Chi mi segue si sarà accorto che negli ultimi due anni sto eplorando il Trentino Alto Adige e in particolare sono tornato spesso nella zona di Castello Tesino.
Il motivo è semplice, ci vuole solo un'ora di macchina per arrivarci da dove abito, ed è una zona molto variegata che offre molte possibilità di escursioni.
In questo post vi racconterò di quella volta che ero partito senza una meta precisa per esplorare ulteriormente i dintorni di Castello Tesino.

When we entered the Celado area, an unexpected panorama opened up before our eyes. At a distance of only a few kilometers from Castello Tesino, there is a very natural environment, with large pastures, a few isolated houses and only a road that crosses that beautiful territory.

Quando siamo entrati nell'area del Celado, si è aperto davanti ai nostri occhi un panorama inaspettato. A distanza di solo qualche chilometro da Castello Tesino, c'è un ambiente molto naturale, con ampi pascoli, qualche casa isolata e solo una strada che attraversa quel bellissimo territorio.
Such a large and sinuous space immediately relaxes the mind, one feels at peace.

Uno spazio così ampio e sinuoso, rilassa immediatamente la mente, ci si sente in pace.
There were no people and it was great.

We walked along the road, with the sole purpose of relaxing and contemplating nature and the landscape.

Abbiamo camminato lungo la strada, col solo scopo di rilassarci e contemplare la natura e il paesaggio.
After a while we reached a nice restaurant and decided to stop for lunch.

Dopo un po' abbiamo raggiunto un bel ristorante e abbiamo deciso di fermarci a pranzare.
When we entered we were alone, but after 10 minutes the whole restaurant filled up and there were even people waiting.

Quando siamo entrati eravamo da soli, ma dopo 10 minuti si è riempito tutto il ristorante e c'erano addirittura persone in attesa.
I have never been to a restaurant with such service.
We ordered some dishes and after 10 minutes the waitress brought us trays full of meat of all kinds even things we hadn't ordered.
Also two first courses, I remember that one dish was ravioli with melted butter and speck and the other baked lasagna.
I haven't eaten that much at weddings either.
We stayed at the restaurant for about two hours and it wasn't at all expected because I wanted to go walking, but we enjoyed it so much that we gladly stopped.

Non sono mai stato in un ristorante con un servizio simile.
Abbiamo ordinato alcuni piatti e dopo 10 minuti la cameriera ci ha portato vassoi colmi di carne di tutti i tipi anche cose che non avevamo ordinato.
Anche due primi piatti, ricordo che un piatto era ravioli con burro fuso e speck e l'altro lasagne al forno.
Non ho mangiato così tanto neanche ai matrimoni.
Siamo rimasti al ristorante circa due ore e non era minimamente previsto perchè io volevo andare a camminare, ma siamo stati così bene che ci siamo fermati volentieri.
I remember that we spent around 25 euros each, a fair price for all the food they offered us.
I recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner to relax without rushing because it is impossible to have a quick meal there!

Ricordo che abbiamo speso circa 25 euro a testa, un prezzo onesto per tutto il cibo che ci hanno offerto.
Consiglio questo ristorante per pranzi o cene per rilassarsi senza fretta perchè lì è impossibile fare un pasto veloce!
When we left the restaurant I felt like I was carrying an elephant on my shoulders. We decided to continue the walk to digest the substantial lunch a bit until we arrived at the Celado astronomical observatory.

Quando siamo usciti dal ristorante mi sembrava di avere sulle spalle un elefante. Abbiamo deciso di proseguire la camminata per digerire un po' il pranzo sostanzioso finchè siamo arrivati all'osservatorio astronomico del Celado.
Forgive me for the title of the post, but unfortunately it was closed and we were unable to visit it.

Perdonatemi il titolo del post, ma purtroppo era chiuso e non siamo riusciti a visitarlo.
I will definitely come back to visit it properly, in any case I am happy to have discovered it!

By now it was getting late so we went back to the car and went home, happy, relaxed and so full, we didn't even have dinner!
