Good evening to all my friends.Wherever you are, I hope you are well. πβ₯οΈ
Hello friends, on this very dangerous occasion, I want to share my experience with you all. Wherever you are, I hope you are all healthy and well.
This time, I want to share my experience with you all about my trip to Banda Aceh and my stop at Blang Padang Park. The park is a sports area, with a jogging track and several other sports facilities nearby.
I immediately headed to the park area. There were many large trees, littered with leaves. When I first arrived at Blang Padang Park, I immediately headed under the shade of a tree because the sun was so hot. My friend and I looked for a shady spot to rest.
I found the park very spacious and clean, and I took some pictures the moment I arrived.
In Blang Padang Park, there's a very valuable item: a historic aircraft. Here, I'd like to share a little about the history of Blang Padang Park.
In the heart of Banda Aceh, on Padang Field, stands a replica of a Dakota Deci-3 aircraft known as Seulawah RI-001. It's not just an ordinary statue; it tells the story of the bravery of the Acehnese people during the revolution.
The original aircraft, 19.66 meters long with a wingspan of almost 29 meters, served as the first aircraft of the Republic of Indonesia. It transported logistics and carried Sukarno's diplomatic delegation and even helped spread the word of independence to the United Nations. From here, the embryo of the commercial airline, Indonesian Airways, was born. Because of this history, Aceh was nicknamed the capital of struggle.
Blang Padang itself has a history much older than the monument. The name Blang Padang means vast grassland, and since the time of the Aceh Darussalam Sultanate, this field has been used as a place for troop assembly, war training, and a center of activity.
I briefly summarized this historical story from Web 3 to enhance my text.
There I was in front of the plane in Blang Padang, I took several pictures of the Blang Padang plane
After capturing some images of the scene, I noticed the park in front of the plane was very spacious. The grass was neatly trimmed, adding to its extraordinary beauty. Around the park, there was a jogging track surrounding the park, and large trees surrounded the area. The place looked very clean, only dirty with fallen leaves. A few weeks ago, there was an exciting event here: a night market. The night market was no longer there, perhaps they had moved.
I captured some of the beauty of Blang Padang Park, with its extraordinary beauty and views. It was a clean, safe, peaceful, and relaxing place.
I moved closer to the aircraft area to examine the historical narratives inscribed beneath it.
There was a stone there with inscribed historical accounts of the Seulawah RI 001 aircraft. I took a few photos of the inscriptions on the stone to commemorate the aircraft's history. The inscriptions were a tribute to the struggle of the RI 001 Seulawah aircraft, built as a token of sincere appreciation from the Indonesian Air Force to the people of Aceh.
That was what was written on the stone about the sign of respect. I only briefly read it.
There, the history of the warplane was also told. I also took some pictures of the written history.
I took a closer look at the enormous plane and saw that it was still perfectly intact, but now it had become a part of Acehnese history.
There, I was under the plane and took some pictures of the aircraft's head and long wings.
