Wow, this little break from blogging has been longer than I expected ^^
What a month it has been!
I've met a bunch of wonderful people, went through some ups and downs, gave a lot, received a lot and definitely learned a lot.
Yesterday we finally left the parking spot where we have stayed for the last five weeks jumping back and forth between the tent on the Rainbow Gathering and the van.
That place really felt like home and I'm very grateful for the time we've spent there. It was time to move on now but I'm pretty sure it wasn't our last visit there :)
I'm sure I'm gonna write down some of the stories I've experienced during the last weeks, but today I just want to give a little update about what's going on and share some pictures of this beautiful beach we found and which is our new temporary home :)
The weather is sunny again, the sea is still warm enough to swim, although I can feel that fall is in the air already. But hey, it's the end of October ^^
We might have found a great place to stay during winter, a house-sitting gig in Greece. But there's still a bit time before it starts, so we are going to spend some more time here in Southern Albania, enjoying the sun and the sea and practising some music.
Yes, music!
We had almost forgotten that we were musicians once and wanted to play for people in the streets, but we got reminded during the last month and started practising some songs again :)
So who knows, maybe we try a bit of busking on the promenade of Sarrande before we leave the country ;)
Well, I think that's it for today, a nice little diary to get back into writing and posting again.
I did miss it! And I'm happy I finally made some time for it :)
Travel life is full of unexpected things happening, and that's what I love about it, it keeps me in the flow, but it doesn't make it easy to keep up a regular posting schedule ^^
