Welcome to a peaceful village that offers views of green rice fields and enchanting blue beaches.
Each country or region has its own unique beauty characteristics that cannot be compared with each other. If we want to travel, then the purpose of the trip can be adjusted to each of us' wishes.
Green rice fields and beaches are still my favorite travel destinations. Of course, in Indonesia there are many villages that offer a combination of views of green rice fields and beautiful beaches. The top choice is Bali.
It's just that popular areas have the highest coastlines, even for transportation costs to get to these popular places. In fact, I have never been to Bali because plane tickets are expensive.
For that reason, I chose a village in Banda Aceh for travel purposes. I can reach the area there by car, with a total trip of around 12 hours, also saving on the coast.
My destination this time is in the city of Banda Aceh, which is located at the edge of Indonesia. I call this village a peaceful village.
This time, I will take you on a relaxing trip to Keuneueu Village, a small village in the city of Banda Aceh.
I stayed at a rental house, located in Keuneueu Village. The reason I chose this location was that I got a place to live right behind the hills surrounded by green rice fields. Apart from hills and rice fields, I can also access beautiful beaches a short distance away using a motorbike.
Green Hills and Rice Fields
I remember a green sign that appeared when we charged the cellphone battery. So, it's also the same as when we see a green view. It feels like we are refilling the energy in my body.
Waking up in the morning, the air in Keuneueu Village felt very cold. I wore a jacket and took a morning walk towards the green rice fields.
Morning dew and fog. Also, the air is very fresh. Looking at the other end, it was still foggy. Also, it was a windy day.
The intensity of the rain was quite high, causing the rice fields to be flooded with water. That's good enough for rice plants to grow well. We can see there that the rice plants have just entered the transplanting period from the nursery. Rice plants still look small and short.
Their colors contrast with the green rice fields making the surrounding atmosphere more beautiful. Can not be expressed in words. Only calm can be described with the soul. :)
Meanwhile, there are many swamp areas in the area opposite the green rice fields. The swamps also give the impression that Keuneueu Village still feels natural and untouched by urban pollution.
We can see wild plants around the swamp. Green wild plants and also some bright flowers make my morning feel like I'm in a good mood.
I smiled and continued my journey in the other direction. Also, I still see hills. It felt like the area where I was staying this time was surrounded by hills. Everywhere as far as my eyes could see there were only hills and green rice fields.
Walking to other areas adjacent to residents' houses, we also saw many local plants. Still feels local wisdom. Even so, the roads are good and not subject to flooding.
The surrounding gardens in the area of the residents' houses use fences made from plant stems that are still left alive, neatly arranged.
Lhoknga Beach
The most popular beach in the city of Banda Aceh is Lhoknga Beach. Luckily, the location of my accommodation was close to this beach.
Lhoknga Beach is famous for its blue water and also has quite high waves. Actually, please be careful to bathe on this beach. That's because the impact of the waves is quite high. Meanwhile, professional gliders love to be on this beach. There are also many surf board rental facilities around the area.
If you do a search on the internet, Lhoknga Beach is a recommended place for a surfing destination.
The beaches I photographed are on the quietest side Lhoknga Beach. I looked for the safest side to walk around.
Don't hesitate to ask the local people who handle the surf camp to have an unforgettable surfing experience at Lhoknga Beach. :)
I went to the beach in the after noon. Unfortunately, that day was foggy, and I couldn't get a perfect sunset. No problem, I enjoy the sand and water of the beaches around here.
In fact, around the beach there will be many certain facilities if you want to look for beach game attractions. This time, I deliberately stayed away from the crowd and enjoyed the view for myself.
A trip I can remember very fondly. Even though I only got around to writing it this year after some time. :) see you at my other journey stories.
Thank you for reading my blog and reblog if you want my blog this time worthy of reading by others.
