Nice to meet you again.
It is me, "An" or "Peace"
I hope all of you had a nice week. And enjoy the happy weekend.
I'm back again with cute and memorable photos from my group's trip to the North.
Today I will take you to the capital of my country - HANOI. If you accidentally search for information or hear someone talk about Vietnam, the image of the country with the letter S on the map will appear and the capital of that country is located in the North, ie above the letter S. Referring to Hanoi. The city turned out to be a very large city. The street is wide, modern, and always busy with traffic. There are many high-rise buildings on both sides of the road. The restaurants are always crowded. Not only that, but Hanoi also has many famous tourist attractions such as Hoan Kiem Lake, Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Thu Le Park, and so on. But today the delegation visited the Cathedral, a typical religious work representation of Hanoi. Review a bit of knowledge about the Gothic architectural genre that we learned in the World Art History module.
The next place is Sword Lake, Ngoc Son Temple. We learned about the history of the temple, the object of worship, and the historical, cultural, and spiritual value of this relic.
The last destination of the day was the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, the first university in Vietnam.
St. Joseph's Cathedral, Hanoi.
Bringing a contemplative feature of time, Hanoi Cathedral as a special highlight for the architecture and landscape of the Hanoi Old Quarter area becomes much more special.
Hanoi Cathedral has the neo-Gothic style of the 19th century with typical European symmetrical towers and shafts. This special structure has a length of about 64.5m with a bell tower up to 31.5m high. This is truly a unique and monumental architectural work in Hanoi Old Quarter in particular and Hanoi capital in general. From Hoan Kiem Lake, we can also easily recognize the Hanoi Cathedral from afar because the deep colors of time have printed on the dark gray walls, striking against the clear blue sky of Hanoi.
People still don't understand why the Old Quarter is always bustling and busy, but around Hanoi, the cathedral is so quiet and peaceful, that it feels like the cathedral of Hanoi is alone. with all that is vibrant and crazy in this city.
We really wanted to go inside to explore the architecture, but since we arrived at the time of the church service we couldn't get in, which was quite a pity.
Ngoc Son Temple
Traveling to the inner city of Hanoi, Ngoc Son Temple is an exciting destination, rich in historical, aesthetic, and traditional cultural significance. Together we learn about Ngoc Son temple ruins.
In the famous Hoan Kiem Lake relic cluster in Hanoi, Ngoc Son Temple is always mentioned as a sacred place, which has existed with the ups and downs of the land of Thang Long - Hanoi. This temple not only has ancient beauty but also has great spiritual significance to local people. can see,
Experiencing many historical events, Ngoc Son Temple is still a majestic architectural masterpiece in the heart
Hanoi. Visiting Ngoc Son Temple is also a way for us to relax our souls, feel life slow down, and save beautiful photos during our trip.
The Huc bridge`The Temple of Literature
We come to the last place of today is the Temple of Literature
As the first university relic complex in our country, the Temple of Literature is not only a cultural and historical relic but also a place where many scholars and students come here to pray for luck in exams and study. We also took that opportunity to pray for good scores in our exams.
The complex of The Temple of Literature relics includes many different small architectural works. Surrounding the campus are malleable bricks. After many renovations, this relic complex includes Ho Van, Temple of Literature, Dai Trung Mon, Khue Van Cac, Thien Quang well, Doctor's stele, Dai Thanh Mon, and Thai Hoc house.
The architectural complex of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam is arranged for each zone, each layer along the North-South axis, simulating the overall planning of the Temple of Literature worshiping Confucius in China, however, the scale here is simple. more and in the traditional way of national
art.
Because my phone doesn't have enough memory I can't take any more pictures of the architecture of Quoc Tu Giam, I'm really sorry for this.
Our trip today stops at this place, see you in the next article.
I hope you guys have a nice weekend.
Sincere thanks.
