I had a road trip going to Impasug ong mountains last few days ago.I saw the baranggay sign name Kapitan Banga so I ask my cousin if what is that Kapitan Banga means? He took me to the place where the Kapitan Banga located and during the road trip I am stunned to see the green beautiful mountains.
I been to Impasug ong already before but never been into this road I think they call it as diversion road.They said that Impasug ong is the mountains where the scary NPA lives or New Peoples Army.I been to Kilawaan mountains last year and they said that mountain lives by the NPA rebellion army but they wont hurt you as long as you are nor related to Philppine Military.
I remember wayback a couple of years ago the Impasug ong was bomb by Philippine Military by a jet fighther targeted the rebellion army that time my kids lives at New Ilocos nearby Impasug ong.Now the place is already peaceful and became the most attractive and visited tourist spot in Bukidnon.
I saw some like a constructed like boulevard walk almost looks the same in boulevard of Cagayan de Oro.Seems it will be another new tourist spot of Impasug ong soon to open the boulevard beside the river.I think we just need to wait the proper announcemnent from the local government.
Literally we arrived to our destination where the "Banga " or the big jar is located at old sayre highway .The water from the banga is 24 hrs flowing unstable unli water from the rain forest and its very fresh and cold.It was built wayback 1929.
I heard that long time ago this is the resting area of the travellers and vehicles serves as relaxing place to drink water and stay for a while.
