Located on the south west route of Aceh, the peak of Mount Geurutee holds a natural charm that is not yet widely known. The beautiful panorama of the Indian Ocean from a height, rows of green mountains and the fresh air typical of the hills make this place worthy of being called Hidden Paradise in the western tip of Indonesia.
Good evening, my friends, wherever you are. I hope you are all healthy and happy, so you can go about your daily activities smoothly as usual. I hope you all have a pleasant day.
In this blog, I want to share some images with my beloved community. These showcase the beauty of Mount Geurutee, a hidden paradise located in the southern part of Aceh.
My friends...
If you are in Aceh and looking for a natural tourist destination that offers the perfect combination of beautiful views and a serene atmosphere, then Mount Geurutee is the answer.
In this area, you can see the beautiful panorama of the Indian Ocean from a height, and the fresh air typical of the hills. Locals often consider this area a hidden paradise in the western tip of Indonesia.
Well, my friends, please continue following my blog to see the beauty of this place I visited a few days ago, as well as a short article about Mount Geurutee.
The summit of Mount Geurutee is located on the southwestern Aceh highway. Although it's just a roadside peak, the allure of Mount Geurutee's summit is enhanced by the winding road between hills and cliffs, making the journey to the summit feel like an adventure. Rain often falls in the area in the morning or afternoon, as the area is located on the equator, making it part of a tropical forest.
These are some photos I took on my way to the summit. At the beginning of the trip, we were drenched by moderate rain. Despite the downpour, the trip was enjoyable for me, as the views were truly breathtaking. Therefore, if you're traveling to the summit, I highly recommend bringing rain gear. Also, be careful, as the area is prone to rain, making the road slippery.
Because it's located on an intercity highway, the journey from downtown Banda Aceh is a bit long. However, the views along the way are guaranteed to leave you delighted.
After spending almost an hour on the journey, we entered a more welcoming area. The journey was even more enjoyable, thanks to the rising sun and clear skies. The journey was refreshing and the scenery was calming. In my personal experience, the best time to visit Puncak is during the day, as a light fog often blankets the area in the morning or afternoon, leading to moderate rain. However, if you want a truly magical experience, traveling in the morning or afternoon is the right choice.
As I mentioned above, the summit of Mount Geurutee is a scenic route filled with natural charm. It's located along the roadside, but the allure of Mount Geurutee Peak is enhanced by the route that runs through it.
After a long journey, we arrived at this area without realizing it. Along the road, I saw several stalls and rest areas built by local residents. You can stop at these stalls and rest areas to enjoy a cup of Acehnese coffee or a typical snack while relaxing and admiring the view.
This atmosphere makes the experience of visiting Mount Geurutee Peak feel warmer and more intimate with the locals.
My friends...
When I first arrived at the area, we immediately chose one of the stalls to rest while enjoying the stunning views and a cup of coffee.
What made me a little sad while at the summit was its cleanliness. I saw so much trash carelessly thrown down by visitors who were enjoying the beauty of Mount Geurutee Peak.
Personally, I believe that as responsible tourists, visitors should maintain the cleanliness of the tourist area by not littering, avoiding disturbing any wildlife they encounter, and most importantly, respecting the local residents who manage the stalls and facilities around the summit.
Therefore, I hope that if you ever visit this place, you will all maintain its cleanliness. It would be a shame if such beautiful nature were polluted by human hands.
And this is the main viewpoint that makes the summit of Mount Geurutee a special attraction for visitors. Of the many eye-pleasing views that amaze me, the one that stands out most, in my opinion, is the view I'm sharing in the image.
My friend...
The name Geurutee itself comes from the Acehnese language, meaning "to see from a height." As the name suggests, from this peak, you can enjoy unobstructed views of the vast, blue Indian Ocean blending with the surrounding lush tropical forest. You can also glimpse this view through the images I've shared above.
Also, a glimpse of the summit of Mount Geurutee. This peak is located in Aceh Jaya Regency, specifically in a mountainous area that is part of the South-Western Crossroad, connecting Banda Aceh with Meulaboh and is also known as one of the most beautiful routes in my province, Aceh.
There's actually a lot I want to say about this place, but we were pressed for time because our main goal was to visit a friend's relative. He had been waiting for us for a long time, and we had already arranged a schedule to get there.
Besides its location on the intercity highway, the summit of Mount Geurutee is often used as a temporary stopover for long-distance drivers like us. Taking a short break at the summit not only refreshes the body but also refreshes the mind with its calming views.
Alright, my friends, those are some pictures of the beauty of Mount Geurutee Peak, which I visited on a trip a few days ago with my friends. I hope you can visit someday and enjoy the views this place offers.
Thank you very much to all of you who have taken the time to view and read my blog to the end. Please leave comments, support, and input, which means a lot to me so I can create a better blog in the future.
That's all for now.
Greetings, everyone.
See you in my next blog.
