Hello again, Today's journey brings us a coastal city, Langkawi. It's located in the Malaysia's northwest coast, known for its beaches β± and clear waters. From Malacca city I took an evening flight to be there on the previous day. There are many beautiful spots around here. And I wanted to visit most of them.
So, after waking up, I firstly choose a place to visit which will be open at morning π.I made my bucket list before.
So I booked a car πfrom hotel π¨and went to an an incredible place is called Langkawi Underwater World! People who love marine life and sea creatures, I must say this is the best place for them. This is one of the largest aquarium in entire Malaysia π²πΎ. There are 4000 different aquatic species inside the park. And this place is almost six acres big. The opening time is 11 am. I entered there at 11.30 am.
There is a three sections π³ according to the lifestyle of animals;
- Tropical Rainforest
- Temparate
- Sub- Antarctic
A rare type of yellow blackish starfish.
This stage looking is known as Cowfish.
Jellyfish
An unknown sea creature that I crossed by on my way.
I went through a gigantic,15 meter long tunnel to see these sea creatures.
Then I went temperate section and saw some beautiful birds π¦. They were so beautiful that I can't explain in a word.
it's a flock of beautiful flamingos π€ͺπ₯³that I ever seen in my whole life.
Just look at this depressed chicken and peacock crossbreed π’. I didn't find the name of this bird.
Oh! That my favourite πβ€ a beautiful Macaw bird π¦
Finally for the first I met a flock of Penguins π§in the sub Antarctic section.
There were so many animals π’. For me it was not possible to capture photos of all of them.
But I took a dangerous photo with a snake πthough I got bitten by this before π¨. But it was a totally different experience for me. It may be pretty strange but it was fun.
After having some roadside snacking. I went on another trip to Kilim Geo-forest Park. It is a natural park featuring mangrove forests, lagoons and amazing beaches β± with a river tour and a floating restaurant. I took a car π to go to Kilim River port, from there I hired a speed boat to exploring this Geo-forest Park .
This park spanning almost 100 square kilometres, is noteworthy for mangrove swamps, beaches and vertical karstic hills jutting towards the Andaman sea.
Famous floating restaurant that I came across in my mangrove swamp forest.
A very man made long road through the forest and Kilim cave and I crossed it. After 3 or hours I went back to the city to visit my next destination, Tengah Beach in Langkawi. I did parasailing here. And it was an excellent experience β€π
I am touching the cold and gentle breeze of the sea. Oh! it is refreshing my mood π.
Evening Views of the Langkawi, kedah beach.
After watching sunset on the beach I went back to the main city to enjoy the nightlife. Here I found some local ice cream π¦with local flavours. I took green tea, coconut and durian flavours. And it was so good π. I also had some grilled seafood there and it was delicious tooπ.
Grilled big sized pomfret and tiger prawns.
I spent my whole day exploring here, at the end I was exhausted but had a good time. This was the one of my best memories l experienced ever. Langkawi tour was a whole package for me, l got mountains, forest, beach altogether. Now I'm taking leave for today. Next time I will see you with my another wonderful journey until then bye.
I hope you all enjoyed my post. Thanks for support and enormous affection π. I must say you people are great πβ€β€
