When I resigned from my job last 2019, I made sure that the remaining 2 months of that year will be filled with travels and memories. Just a few weeks before my last day of work, I planned out all the places I must go to and the people I should meet.
One of the people I visited was my friend Ar-ar. At that time she was still in Manila. (As of this writing she's now residing in France with her husband.) During my visit, I planned to attend the Vegan Festival in Manila which I will be featuring here soon. For now, I will share with you the beautiful waterfalls we went to in Cavite.
Finding this waterfall was a bit tricky and we got lost several times. (Thanks to Waze.) But we still made it to the falls by asking passers-by about the exact location of the walls. When we arrived it was just me and a couple of people. It was a weekend but apparently, this attraction is not a favorite of everyone.
At first, I was really amazed by the fact that there was a waterfall on the side of the city. I got really excited and we took some photos before plunging into the water.
The water was really cold and you can't see what was under because the ground is muddy. We saw some kids jumping from the cliff. As much as I want to try I was scared knowing that there are only a few people around and not sure if there will be a rescue if something bad happened to me. Instead, Ar-ar and I stayed in the water and just talked about anything.
We did a lot of catching up and reminiscing the bad and good times in our friendship. It was really nice to see each other again and just talk like there's no tomorrow. We haven't seen each other for over 2 years now and sometimes, I wish she was just a bus or boat away so we can hang out again. I can't wait to see her again. Do you also have a friend you haven't seen for a while now? What was the last thing you guys did together?
