Today I want to share with all of you pictures of one of the most visited places by tourists in the city of Malaga: La Malagueta bullring.

Hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes fotografías de uno de los lugares más visitados por los turistas en la ciudad de Málaga: La plaza de toros de La Malagueta.

Normally it is not open to the public, only when there is an exhibition of photographs and on this occasion I was lucky that it was.
The bullring is located in the eastern part of the city, next to the Paseo Reding. It was inaugurated in 1876 and currently belongs to the Diputación de Málaga and is sublet.
It is often used for photographic exhibitions, as is the case here. Otherwise it remains closed.
Normalmente no está abierta al público, solamente cuando hay exposición de fotografías y en esta ocasión tuve la suerte que dé así fuera.
La plaza de toros se encuentra en la zona este de la ciudad, junto al paseo Reding. Se inauguró en el año 1876 y actualmente pertenece a la Diputación de Málaga y se subarrienda.
En muchas ocasiones se realizan exposiciones de fotografías, como es este el caso. De lo contrario permanece cerrada.

At present, bullfights are held on three or four occasions a year. In the month of August, during the famous Malaga Fair, bullfights are held to celebrate this celebration. Also in the days before Easter, called "Corrida Picassiana". In the month of June and in September as well. All of them on special dates.
En la actualidad, se realizan corridas de toros en unas tres o cuatro ocasiones al año. En el mes de agosto, durante la famosa Feria de Málaga se realizan corridas de toros, con motivo de esa celebración. También días previos a la pascua, llamada "Corrida Picassiana". En el mes de junio y en septiembre también. Todas en fechas especiales.

The exterior has a beautiful architectural façade, it has a hexadecagon shape.
I was struck by the style of the upper windows and the different doors. I took a tour of the exterior to contemplate the beauty of its construction.
El exterior cuenta con una fachada arquitectónica hermosa, tiene una forma de hexadecágono.
Me llamaron mucho el estilo de los ventanales superiores y las diferentes puertas. Hice un recorrido por todo su exterior para contemplar la belleza de su construcción.
As it was open to the public for an exhibition, I was able to enter and take photographs in part of its interiors. Except in the very centre of the square where it is not possible to enter.
I took the opportunity to approach the doors of the interior of the square to bring you some photos and also of the internal corridors.
Many of the sectors were inaccessible.
Al estar abierta al público, con motivo de una muestra, pude ingresar y tomar fotografías en parte de los interiores de la misma. Salvo en el centro mismo de la plaza donde no se puede entrar.
Aproveche para acercarme a las puertas de entada del interior de la plaza para traerles algunas fotos y también de los pasillos internos.
A muchos de los sectores no se podía acceder.

The white marble staircases, which were impressive, were also inaccessible to the public.
Las escaleras de mármol blanco eran impresionantes, tampoco estaban accesibles al público.
On this occasion there was, as I mentioned, an exhibition of photographs of the painter Pablo Picasso by Edward Quinn, entitled "Picasso and the golden years of the Côte d'Azur".
Most were black and white photographs, very few in colour. They showed different periods of the painter's daily life as well as his brilliant years.
En esta oportunidad había, como les comenté, una muestra de fotografías del pintor Pablo Picasso realizada por Edward Quinn, titulada “Picasso y los años dorados de la Costa azul”
La mayoría eran fotografías en blanco y negro, muy pocas a color. Mostraban diferentes épocas del pintor de su vida cotidiana como de sus años brillantes.
The exhibition went in two directions, back and forth, showing the different moments in the painter's life.
Admission to the exhibition was free from Tuesday to Sunday, it was organised by the Centro Cultural La Malagueta.
La muestra se realizó en dos sentidos, de ida y vuelta, mostrando los diferentes momentos de la vida del pintor.
La entrada a la exposición era libre y gratuita de martes a Domingo, organizada por el Centro cultural La Malagueta.
Edward Quinn is a photographer who had privileged access to the painter during the last two decades of his life and managed to capture all those experiences of the painter during that period of time.
Edward Quinn es un fotógrafo que tuvo acceso privilegiado al pintor durante las últimas dos décadas de su vida y logró captar todas esas vivencias del mismo en ese período de tiempo.
I really didn't expect to find the exhibition, my intention was to visit the Bullring, but I found this surprise and that's why I bring you all this beauty.
For the first and the last picture I climbed up to a lookout point from the Gibralfaro castle to get those incredible views.

Realmente no me esperaba encontrarme con la muestra, mi intención era visitar la Plaza de Toros, pero hallé esta sorpresa y por ello les traigo toda esta belleza.
Para la primera y la última fotografía he subido a un mirador desde el castillo de Gibralfaro y realizar esas vistas increíbles.
