Un saludo a toda la comunidad de HIVE!! 🐝, en esta oportunidad les traigo un post acerca de una iglesia con una forma que no es típica y que comenzó en Francia, la cuna de estructuras impresionantes y vanguardistas. Esta estructura en mi ciudad, fue finalizada en 1896, en lo primero que hay que fijarse y que además, llama mucho la atención es en la fachada; podemos encontrar líneas conocidas como las arquivoltas y que son arcos muy marcados uno tras otro. Pueden observar en la misma fachada; una estructura triangular con pequeños cúmulos bien moldeados, llamado gablete; se dice que dichas formas provienen de la edad media y si son detallistas, en Disney World, en el área de Magic Kingdom existe el castillo de la cenicienta que es imponente y que también tiene un estilo gótico; posee un gablete similar al que pude apreciar en la iglesia que les muestro en este post.

Greetings to all the HIVE community!!! 🐝, this time I bring you a post about a church with a shape that is not typical and that began in France, the cradle of impressive and avant-garde structures. This structure in my city, was completed in 1896, the first thing to look at and that also draws much attention is the facade; we can find lines known as the archivolts and are very marked arches one after another. You can see in the same facade; a triangular structure with small well molded clusters, called gable; it is said that these forms come from the Middle Ages and if you are detailed, in Disney World, in the Magic Kingdom area there is the Cinderella Castle which is imposing and also has a Gothic style; it has a gable similar to what I could see in the church that I show you in this post.

Otra característica que identifica un estilo gótico, son los arcos apuntados que podemos observar en las ventanas de la iglesia, es de vital importancia que para una edificación gótica posea este tipo de arte; formado por dos tramos de arco terminando en un angulo central.

Another characteristic that identifies a gothic style, are the pointed arches that we can observe in the windows of the church, it is of vital importance for a gothic building to possess this type of art; formed by two sections of arch ending in a central angle.

La forma punteada de sus pilares, me hace acordar a castillos de esos que puedes ver en películas animadas, me parece un arte muy poco frecuente y que se sale de lo tradicional e inclusive atractivo. Es por esto, que debemos saber apreciar este tipo de arte urbano que tenemos en nuestra ciudad. aunque, no haya tanta arquitectura de origen francés como si la podemos encontrar en otra ciudad de Suramérica como en Buenos Aires, se agradece poder contar con este tipo de estructuras.

The dotted shape of its pillars reminds me of those castles that you can see in animated movies, it seems to me a very rare art that is out of the traditional and even attractive. That is why we must appreciate this type of urban art that we have in our city. Although there is not as much architecture of French origin as we can find in other South American cities such as Buenos Aires, it is grateful to have this type of structures.
