Sabang City on Pulau Weh is the westernmost area in Indonesia which has many tourist destinations, especially for marine tourism. There are many beautiful beaches that can be visited, for example the beach on Rubiah Island which is a favorite location for diving enthusiasts.
For those who don't like diving, swimming in the sea or snorkeling, Sabang also offers other beauties that would be a shame to miss. One of them is Taman Hutan Wisata Alam Pulau Weh.
The location of the Pulau Weh Natural Tourism Forest Park is right on the side of the Sabang Zero Kilometer Monument, which is the westernmost point in Indonesia.
This means that visitors can also enjoy the natural beauty and freshness of the Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Forest Park. About the Zero Kilometer Monument, I want to post in this community on another occasion.
At Pulau Weh Natural Tourism Forest Park, tourists can enjoy the natural beauty of the forest and the beach. Tourists can hear birds chirping in response to the crashing of the waves.
The fresh sea breeze gently brushes the surface of the skin. The hot Sabang air is not felt in the Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Forest Park.
Every time I visit the Kilometer 0 Monument in Sabang, I always visit the Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Forest Park. Unfortunately, on the last visit at the end of 2023, there was a ban on entry for tourists because the rotten plank stairs were being repaired.
However, now perhaps the stairs leading to the Pulau Weh Natural Tourism Forest Park have been repaired and tourists can explore the forest.[]
