On this occasion, I'm sharing my visit to the city center with you, including a short walk along the Manzanares River and the Mariño Street bridge. As I've mentioned in previous posts, the Manzanares River flows through the heart of the city, passing behind Guaiquerí Park and continuing for a long stretch to the La Boca neighborhood. In the center are the bridges on Mariño and Bermúdez Streets, the Manzanares River promenade, and Ayacucho Park. From this vantage point, the river offers beautiful scenery, and during this season, visitors can enjoy the stunning view of the Apamate trees with their lovely pink blossoms.
While running errands in the city center, I stopped to observe the river and the dredging work underway, as well as the beautiful Apamate flowers along its banks. I paused and went down to the walkway to get a closer look at these beautiful flowers and the small carpet they form along the riverbank.
Next to Ayacucho Park are several walls, and beneath them, a concrete walkway at the river's edge. There are also several trees, including Apamates, and since they are in bloom, many of their flowers are scattered across the ground and in the water of the Manzanares River. The presence of these flowers makes it look very beautiful and peaceful. In fact, I spent several minutes observing the river and the strip of pink flowers adorning the bank. I also saw two birds calmly moving along the riverbank. This landscape is relaxing and conveys a sense of peace and tranquility in the middle of a hectic day with so many activities. Taking this break was a great idea because, in addition to enjoying the scenery, I was able to relax and observe the beauty of the river and its surroundings. Hola amigos viajeros es un placer saludarles deseo que tengan un excelente y bendecido día en unión de sus seres queridos, en esta ocasión les comparto mi visita al centro de la ciudad en un pequeño recorrido por el río Manzanares y el puente de la calle Mariño, como he mencionado en publicaciones anteriores, el río Manzanares atraviesa el centro de la ciudad y en su trayecto recorre la parte posterior del parque Guaiquerí y un largo tramo que conduce hasta el sector la Boca, en el centro se ubican los puentes de las calles Mariño y Bermúdez, el paseo riberas del Manzanares y el parque Ayacucho, desde este punto ofrece hermosos paisajes, que por la temporada permiten al visitante disfrutar la hermosa vista de los Apamates con sus lindas flores de color rosa.
Mientras realizaba varias diligencias por el centro de la ciudad, me detuve a observar el río y el proceso de dragado que le están realizando, así como las hermosas flores de Apamate ubicadas en la orilla; hice una pausa y bajé hacia la caminería para observar de cerca estas hermosas flores y la pequeña alfombra que forman en la caminería del río.
Al lado del parque Ayacucho se encuentran varios muros y debajo de estos un pasillo de concreto al borde del Río, también varios árboles, entre ellos Apamates y cómo está en su etapa de floración varias de sus flores dispersas en el terreno y en el agua el río Manzanares, con la presencia de estas flores se ve muy bonito y tranquilo, de hecho me quedé varios minutos observando el río y la franja de flores de rosa que adornaban la orilla, también dos aves que tranquilamente se desplazaban por la ribera, este paisaje es relajante y transmite una sensación de paz y tranquilidad en medio de un día agitado con tantas actividades, hacer esta pausa fue muy acertado porque además de disfrutar del paisaje pude relajarme y observar la belleza del río y su entorno, esta es mi entrada al Qurator's Photo Quest | Peaceful
The dredging of the river widens it and offers an excellent view of the landscape, which combines an urban environment on Bermúdez Street with a natural space located next to Ayacucho Park, through which the Manzanares River flows. The water acts like a mirror for these large trees, reflecting their branches and trunks in the river. The walkway is clean, and some sections are covered with Apamate flowers. The view from the bridge above shows part of the walkways, the dredged line, and a tamarind tree located below. The next view shows the river, the walkways, and the trees located along this route.
On the other side, there are also several trees and the strip of land that separates the river from Arismendi and Bermúdez streets. One of the views I enjoyed most was that of the Apamate tree with its beautiful pink flowers. This tree, in its flowering season, adorns the city with a beautiful color that can be seen from Guaiquerí Park to the skateboard park, located behind Ayacucho Park. Along the riverbank, we also see several Apamate trees with their striking flowers. It was a relaxing and peaceful walk observing the Manzanares River, its walkways, and the trees that adorn this beautiful space, ideal for de-stressing amidst so many daily tasks and errands. Taking a break, breathing, observing, and enjoying the breeze is an excellent option to recharge your energy and enjoy the peace that nature offers.
El dragado del río le da amplitud y ofrece una excelente vista del paisaje, que combina un entorno urbano en la calle Bermúdez y un espacio natural ubicado al lado del parque Ayacucho por donde pasa el río Manzanares, el agua parece un espejo para estos grandes árboles que reflejan sus ramas y troncos en el río, la caminería está limpia y algunos tramos cubiertos con flores de Apamate, la vista desde el puente en la parte de arriba nos muestra parte de las caminerías, la línea del dragado y un árbol de tamarindo ubicado en la parte baja, en la siguiente vista se aprecia el río, la caminería y los árboles ubicados a lo largo de este trayecto.
En el otro lado, también hay varios árboles y la franja de tierra que separa al río de la calle Arismendi con Bermúdez, una de las vista que más me gustó es la del Apamate con sus hermosas flores rosas, este árbol en su época de floración viste la ciudad con un hermoso color el cual se puede observar desde el parque Guaiquerí hasta la pista de Skateboard, ubicada detrás del parque Ayacucho, en la ribera del río también vemos varios árboles de Apamate y sus llamativas flores; fue un paseo relajante y con mucha paz observando el río Manzanares, sus caminerías y árboles que adornan este hermoso espacio, ideal para desestresarse en medio de tantas ocupaciones y diligencias diarias, hacer un alto, respirar, observar y disfrutar la brisa, es una excelente opción para recargar energía y disfrutar de la paz que la naturaleza nos regala.

During the walk, I noticed that there are more Apamate trees than I had imagined. Perhaps because I had visited during times when they weren't in bloom, I had only noticed a few. But with their striking flowers, I realized that there are many Apamates in this area of the river, located along the path from the bridge to the aforementioned road. We also see the commercial area on Arismendi Avenue, which connects with the municipal market, commercial establishments, and residential complexes.
It's always pleasant and relaxing to visit this area of the city for its beautiful scenery, abundant palm trees in the park, and trees along the riverbank, which allow visitors to unwind while observing the surroundings and the peace and tranquility this place exudes.
In the afternoon, it's less crowded and perfect for sitting and contemplating the wonders of Creation and nature in Ayacucho Park and along the banks of the Manzanares River, right in the heart of the city. After my stroll and rest in this beautiful spot, I headed to the bus stop to catch the bus back home, as the errands I had planned to run weren't possible because it was already midday and time to prepare lunch. Although I couldn't finish my errands, I loved the walk and the view.
Avanzando, se observan de cerca las caminerías, los muros de roca y los árboles que están ubicados en este sendero, también se ve parte del piso del parque Ayacucho que es de granito, en la caminería observamos otros árboles además del Apamate, como Plátano, Flamboyán y más, a continuación otro Apamate muy frondoso con sus hermosas flores.
Durante el recorrido, pude observar que hay más Apamate de los que imaginé, tal vez como he ido en épocas donde no están en floración solo podía notar algunos, pero con sus llamativas flores me di cuenta que hay muchos Apamates en esta zona del río, ubicados en el sendero, desde el puente hasta la pista mencionada, también se observa la zona comercial ubicada en la avenida Arismendi que converge con el mercado municipal, los establecimientos comerciales y conjuntos residenciales.
Siempre es agradable y relajante, visitar esta área de la ciudad por sus hermosos paisajes, abundantes palmeras en el parque y árboles en la orilla del río, que permiten al visitante relajarse observando el entorno y la paz y tranquilidad que transmite este lugar.
En horas de la tarde es menos concurrido y perfecto para sentarse y contemplar las maravillas de la Creación y la naturaleza en el parque Ayacucho y la ribera del río Manzanares en pleno centro de la ciudad; terminado mi paseo y descanso en este hermoso lugar, me dirigí a la parada para tomar el transporte de vuelta a casa, ya que la diligencias que iba a hacer no fueron posibles porque ya era mediodía y la hora de preparar de preparar almuerzo, aunque no pude terminar mis diligencias me encantó hacer el recorrido y disfrutar la vista del paisaje.
