Have you been in Maschsee lake? Swans in the dark, Hannover
Hello, dear Hivers!! My post today is about Hannover once again!!
Soon we'll be back to the bella and warm Italy (or Spain), but looking at my pictures, I realized that Hannover was a great experience for me.
One day, I was walking, it was around 4 pm, and it was in y first week in Germany. Suddenly, the sky turned dark blue (and white because f the clouds) and night become, it wasn't even 5 pm.
That day I was very far from the apartment, I was in Maschsee, this is a beautiful lake that is close to the city center.
I decided to keep walking because for me it was early to come back and go to sleep.
I was observing at the lake and looking at how the white sky reflected on the water. I expanded y vision, and I saw how colors over the water, it was a part of the city. So I lost myself for a moment over there.
I walked closer to the lake, in order to submerge myself in the darkness and silence, and I saw them...
It took me a moment to trust what I was looking at.
They were swans... Fancy swans swimming and feeding.
Oh yes, I was happy, very happy for having the opportunity to see those beautiful birds.
You see, where I come from, there are no swans and they belong to a children's story. That was the second time in y life that I saw swans (the first one was in 2019 in Hyde Park in London ).
It's a beautiful place Maschsee, I visited it both during the night (really the afternoon in the clock) and during the day, but this post is about the swans that I saw in the dark, as a surprise and as a gift from Hannover to me.
I was worried about the quality of the pictuures, because it was night, but I believe that it was a very good one!!
After staying there for a while, I contnued walking to the other side of the lake.
Althought it was a cold December day and I was living oone of my first night at 5 pm, as you can see, it was an amazing moment and landscape! Pretty new for me, different, particular, but a very good one.
I hope you've enjoyed this post!! I know it's not a sunny and fun publication, but I really like it!
I used an iPhone 12 Pro for the pictures and the app GIPHY for the gif. I'm the author of all the content here in this post.
