Today I would like to share with you the experience of my visit to Mount Titlis, one of the mountains belonging to the Swiss Alps.

The Swiss Alps are not only an attraction for those who like to ski, but also for those who like to see snow and beautiful white landscapes.

Mount Titlis is 3,238 meters high and is located in central Switzerland, in a small "village" called Engelberg, which has no more than 4,000 inhabitants, and is very popular as a tourist destination.
Many travelers choose Mount Titlis because there is snow on it all year round.
Considering the small size of Engelberg, many visitors end up staying in Lucerne, a larger city (approximately 80,000 inhabitants) with more hotels available, which is located only 35 kilometers away from Engelberg.
My choice was also to stay in Lucerne and make a round trip on the same day to Engelberg, leaving in the morning, enjoying the day on Mount Titlis and returning to Lucerne in the late afternoon.
The journey between Lucerne and Engelberg can be made by the various, very comfortable and well-equipped trains in Switzerland, which make this trip every hour, and tickets can be purchased on the website of the train operator SBB at a cost of 9.20 CHF (convert), and the train trip itself is already wonderful.
When you arrive at the small Engelberg train station you must go to the ticket office, which is located approximately 750 meters away from the station, to purchase your ticket, and all prices can be checked on the official Mounte Titlis website.
The trip between the station and the Mount Titlis ticket office can be made on foot, just following the flow of people or the signs indicating the way, or by bus, which regularly makes this trip.

Tip: it is very important to keep your ticket in a safe place, as it will be used at various times during the mountain tour.
From the base of the mountain to the "Stand" station the trip is made by cable cars, called Titlis express, which hold 6 people. They are very panoramic and offer a wonderful view of the village of Engelberg, its green fields and the mountais. There is a total change of scenery.
The final part of the trip is done through the Rotair, which is a round "cable car", totally panoramic, where all the people go standing and that does a 360º rotation during the trip, it is an amazing experience.
The top of the mountain holds great thrills, but among the many options for fun, not just for sky lovers, is Europe's highest suspension bridge, known as the TITLIS Cliff Walk.
The walk across the bridge is very exciting and the view is incredible.
There is also Glacier Cave, which is a path for you to walk and observe the ice inside the mountain, just be warned that it is slippery, there is a lot of point where you can take a cool picture.
The highest part of the mountain has wonderful scenery, of which you can make unforgettable memories and beautiful photographs.
Obviously it is very cold, very windy the day I went.
But I can say that I was lucky to get a sunny day, which provides a panoramic and totally clear view, but the cold stays.
In summary I can say that it was an incredible and unforgettable ride, the Titlis is a mountain with many attractions, besides having an incredible structure and accessibility, which makes the access and the ride much easier.
Be well prepared for the cold, otherwise you will not enjoy the ride, because, besides the low temperature, there is also the problem of the wind, so be well wrapped up.
I also took a backpack with food (snacks, fruit, etc) and water, this is important if you want to save a little.
