The day was going to be a long one , it was a lovely lady friend of my , birthday yesterday so we decided to start the day with some lunch at my lady friend favorite noddle shops with her sister and myself. Now this noddle shop is no ordinary noddle shop it's a fun feast of a noddle shop they say if you can eat 10 bowls of soup they will give you another 2 free bowls of soup on top of your 10 bowls that you have just eaten plus a discount on your bowls of soup and a bottle of coke or lemonade.
This was not just going to be a challenge but a fun challenge i have never eaten 10 bowls of soup but i was going to give it a go we they come with chicken , beef or pork and we different broths so we ordered a mix of 9 bowls to start with and then you can add your own spices.
Luckily to my surprise these bowls of soup were no where as big as a normal bowl of soup so i thought no worries keep bringing them out there was no time limit and at 30 cents a bowl i could sit here all afternoon they were absolutely delicious. We were not in a hurry but within the hour we had already stacked up almost 30 bowls so we were in for the extra bowls of soup to be honest the girls were doing better then me these Thai girls can really eat no doubt about that 😂
We done well we had reach our target and got the free 6 bowls plus the discount and the drinks i don't know about the girls but i was totally bloated but very satisfied this was a real bargain the whole bill with a couple bottle of water was like $15 US the cheapest meal ever had in Bangkok for 3 people just unbelievable value and they are a group of these noddle soup all in this block with different types of meats and seafood.
We certainly needed a good walk after that meal so we headed of to the shopping mall to burn a few calories of and we still had the birthday party coming within a few hours after finishing our bit of shopping we all headed home to shower up , change up and makeup for the girls...lol..and then meet up at our favorite party restaurant in Soi 4 which is one of the main nightlife party streets in Bangkok.
I got into Soi 4 Nana a little early and the street already had atmosphere with the drinking bars open and the street vendors pumping there food but not as busy as usual as there are still very limited tourist in the country because of the pandemic.
Got to the Bar-Restaurant which is called Busstop it is a cool place it's outdoors so you can feel good vibes with the passing by people maybe have a chat with some as you having your beer on the beach table that runs across the front of the bar or just do a bit of people watching is what i was doing till everyone else turned up.
The birthday girl had arrived with her friends and the food was been ordered and believe it or not after my 10 bowls of soup i was feeling hungry again it must have been the 5 beers , i had already before they all turned up 😎 This restaurant has the most amazing variety of Thai foods and European foods great big serving at very reasonable prices without taxes or service charges.
Chicken Cashew Nuts with rice.
Thai Spicy Seafood Salad.
Morning Glory , Chicken Penang , Spicy Beef and Rice.
Grilled Salmon with Salad and Veggies.
And after a outstanding dinner the party begins with shots of B52's it's going to be a long night but hey it's a birthday party and the Thai girls know how to party 😨
The night is going smoothly no has fallen over yet with all them B52's had the rest of the mix drinks were flowing nicely and it was time for the birthday girl to blow her candles out before she turned another day older but i must say for a 39 year old girl she still looks smashing hot with that beautiful smile 😉 🎂 🎈 😅
In Thai tradition the friends give the birthday girl money and they shape the money into a crown , staple the money together and she wears it like a crown of jewels for good luck and good fortune.
And the night when smoothly after a bit of dancing and more drinking at the nightclub no one had to be carried home was another sensational night in Soi 4 Nana , Bangkok.
Cheers to another great night in the City of Angels 🍺 🍺
