The path becomes more difficult as we advance along the path. We begin in a large village called Guerreiro, which after walking about 2km we abandon it and pass along the road until we reach "povoa de galela" later we will pass through "Ponte de Lousa" until you reach Carvaleos where the trail would begin with the irregular terrain and much more difficult. This entire adventure has an extension of more than 12km and you can walk up to 26km in a single day, so come prepared, the path is hard, slippery and you need as much as hiking boots. excursion like hiking poles! In winter it usually rains so bring warm clothes! Never let 18:00 catch up with you because it will already be dark and it's too dangerous!π§ππ©

It is not every day that we have the opportunity to see architectural antiques like this one. This beautiful pink house was built in the 17th century and the beginning of the 18th century. When it was built, it was a chapel that served as a place of prayer for the village. Next to the chapel we see a extension with more than 10 rooms that for me either belonged to the owner of the villa or had some pilgrimage function, it is abandoned so not much information is known about it! However, it is an excellent stop to take some photos before continuing our trail!ππ§π

Lousa and the mountains πββοΈππ©/ Lousa y las montaΓ±asπ§π

About 3km or maybe 4km we passed through a village that is large and called "Pte de Lousa" which is known for being in the middle of nature, many houses were built between the mountain whose main constitution is granite rock. very porous which allows the landscape to be shaped with very interesting designs. In addition, thanks to the type of stone, hundreds of caves are formed. I will show you one which I will have to pass before reaching the famous ancient tree! You can go down here by public transport in case you don't want to walk the 12kmπ©ππΎ

Climbing the mountain πββοΈππ©/ Subiendo la montaΓ±aπ§π

After walking about 5-6km the terrain begins to become a headache for those who have little resistance and you will have to reach the top of the mountain that is more than 450 meters high, at the top we will find the village of Carcavelos which I mentioned before because it is very small and it is literally a place to retire or buy a house and enjoy nature on your vacation! They are dedicated to agriculture so it is common to see many crops! and of course the eloic energy predominates!π΅ββοΈππ§

Road to TOFU caveπ©ππ§
After climbing the mountain I made a stop to hydrate and rest a little because the path will now be complicated because we will have to go through the forest as you can see between the muddy soil of the Carcavelo mountain, here it does not work on Googlemaps so we will have You have to have a good sense of direction not because you can get lost but to get to the cave which is very hidden!ππ§π

Detour to the Tofu CaveπββοΈππ©/ DesvΓo a la cueva Tofuπ§π

And finally I managed to reach the famous cave "Tufo" or Tofu has several names but it is quite complicated to get to so you have to make a small detour of about 400 meters in the mountain, the paths are quite narrow but it is well marked, when we arrived at the cave, be careful where you step because under your feet there are some craters that were created because of the stone! We can take some photos, if you are adventurous you can explore the cave but be π»π§π©careful!

Every few years the municipal chamber sends an environmental team to make measurements! the best place to seek peace, tranquility, reflect on life and excellent for practicing natural photography!π§π©π
