The most important thing is to know where the trail is, and well I already left you the coordinates here, there is a wooden board that has written: "entre-palheiros" that is the one we are going to follow, because it will take us to the end of the trail which is the stone chapel, it is a level trail (medium), it requires some physical resistance because we are a thousand meters high there is little oxygen and we need to climb 150 meters more, I do not see it suitable for children, bring hiking boots and try not to do it in the rainy season.🏰🌍
Lo más importante es saber donde está el sendero, y bueno ya te deje aquí las coordenadas, existe una tabla de madera que tiene escrito: "entre-palheiros" esa es la que vamos a acompañar, porque nos llevara hasta el final del sendero que es la capilla de piedra, es un sendero de nivel (medio), requiere algo de resistencia física porque estamos a mil metros hay poco oxígeno y necesitamos subir 150 metros más, no lo veo apto para niños, trae botas de excursión y trata de no hacerlo en época de lluvia.🚙📸

Vamos a comenzar la caminata desde la calle al frente del hotel "entre-palheiros", solo vamos a subir, tengo entendido que esta zona por la altura en invierno hay mucha nieve, quizás la caminata en invierno sea bonita, sé que la zona es demasiado fria.😮🌄

We are going to see a variety of plant species typical of the Mediterranean, many bushes, I was struck by the absence of trees, I suppose because it is a more temperate and high area, this whole area is rural and corn is predominantly planted, very close from here, less than 2km away, is the Albufeira River, and from above in the chapel we will possibly be able to see it😍🧭
Vamos a ver una variedad de especies de plantas típicas del mediterráneo, muchos arbustos, me llamo la atención la ausencia de árboles, supongo que por ser una zona más templada y alta, toda esta zona es rural y predomina la siembra de maíz, muy cerca de aquí a menos de 2km está el río Albufeira, y que desde arriba en la capilla posiblemente podremos verlo🌹🌻

En verano es superaconsejable traer mucha agua, tener bastante cuidado donde pisas porque el terreno es rústico, resbaladizo y hay mucha piedra suelta, además es bastante divertida la caminata en la madrugada, bien temprano cuando está fresco, a partir del medio día la temperatura sube muchísimo🗺️🚩
We're in a valley, surrounded by mountains. What we're aiming for is to climb to the highest part of the mountain where I am now. There isn't much animal biodiversity. I hardly hear any birds there, which is strange.🧭😍

I discovered the trail because I was staying at a hotel nearby, and the lady told me, "Follow that path to the chapel." She also told me that in the past, people would make the trek to the chapel to ask for a miracle, making religious promises.🧭🌄
El sendero lo descubrí porque me quede en hotel por acá cerca y la señora me dijo: "sigue ese camino hasta la capilla", pero también me comento que antes las personas por promesas religiosas hacían el recorrido hasta llegar a la capilla para pedir algún milagro.📸🌍

And well, we reached the highest point of the hill, 1198 meters, and we came across 5 crosses, which apparently symbolize some kind of Via Crucis, a place with a lot of peace, tranquility, and with the best landscape towards the villages of Montealegre.📸🌄

The tour ends here. It is believed that the chapel dates back to the 16th century, more or less the same as the town itself, but there is so little information about it that nothing appears on the internet.🚩📸
Aquí termina el recorrido, se cree que la capilla es del siglo XVI más o menos lo que tiene la villa, pero hay tan poca información al respecto que en internet no sale nada.🌻🌹
