When you finally have a beautiful weather on a weekend after a rainy weekdays, what would do you do?
On our end, with less than a second thought, together with the family we decided to spend this beautiful sunny Sunday weather somewhere different from the usual. We just want to have a break from the usual places that we go and the usual things we do.
We went to a popular resort in town. We just wanted to have a dip, and experience a little fun under the sun. Since I am already familiar of the place and its just a short tricycle ride so there's no need for thorough planning and budgetting. We just bought some food like chips, sandwiches and softdrinks. And if ever we need something, the market is just a few meters away.
The place is called Tessla Beach Resort located in Tabok, Hindang, Leyte.
The last time I went here was before the pandemic and I can compare the improvement done in the resort.
As you enter the gate, you will have to list your names at the reception and pay for the fees such as entrance fees and cottage fee. Here's their entrance fee and cottage fees.
Upon entering the gate to the pool, you'll have to walk through this covered walk which is my favorite area of the resort. I find it cool to have this vines as roofing instead of a normal metal roof. The roots of the vines hanging and the lush green leaves are aesthetic.
The resort has a cozy and peaceful ambiance. It has a small area and offers basic amenities. It has one large pool divided into an adult pool and children's pool. There is a short slide for adults only. Around the pool are a few number of cottages with different rates depending on the capacity and design. It has a vieoke room and a space for large groups who will phave their company outing if ever they plan to have a group activities there.
The place is good enough if you just want to enjoy some swimming and bonding sessions with family or friends.
I also appreciate the palm trees around the pool area. They add beauty and cool atmosphere to the place.
Aside from the recreation area with the swimming pool, the resort offers reception services for weddings and other gatherings. It has a large function hall. It is a closed building with glass doors and walls.
The resort also has a number of hotel rooms. I was not able to ask for the rates but I guess the rooms will cost 20$ and above per night.
The children had fun swimming while I was enjoying strolling around the resort and enjoyed taking photos and selfies in the area.
So there goes my fun-filled weekend with the family. How did you spent yours. I hope you had fun too. Enjoy the rest of the week.
