Have you been here?
This is the best location to go if you want to go to Boljoon. This is a popular tourist attraction in the town. When visitors arrive in Boljoon, they are greeted by this picturesque limestone cliff. It depicts a panoramic picture of the city's heritage landmarks, the great blue ocean near its shoreline, and the several islands that surround it.
This view now stands in the heart of Boljoon, attracting visitors to the best vantage point in town. Although the 136 steps demand some work, it will not be enough to prevent visitors from witnessing Boljoon in all of its grandeur.
I would recommend going early in the morning to avoid overheating or prolonged exposure to the sun; it is essential to keep oneself shielded before even attempting to climb to the top. Because there are no trees or shelters on the viewing deck, it is a good idea to bring a hat or an umbrella. If you go early in the morning, you may see the sunrise, which is breathtaking.
You can take a selfie with either the big ocean or the town in the background. You can also go to the cliff's edge and shoot photos like I did, but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't know how to balance. There's nothing you can grip to keep from falling because the air is a little bit powerful.
WHAT IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE METHOD OF GETTING THERE?
Take a bus to Boljoon from the Cebu South Bus Terminal. Insist on being dropped off at the base of Eli Rock Viewdeck by the bus driver. Depending on the type of bus you take, the fare may differ. It is priced between 150 and 160 PHP.
