Hi, when I was in Trento, I also visited the Galleria Civica di Trento, a museum dedicated to contemporary art which is the branch of another important museum which is located near Rovereto and which is the Mart, and which I hope to visit soon, I took advantage of it because it was the first Sunday of the month and therefore if it was free entry into this museum, a museum which is located inside a completely renovated historic building which technically should promote artists of contemporary art both from Trentino and internationally.
In reality, the entrance ticket is not expensive because it is only €2, but probably by entering this museum I understood why the ticket is so low, I was not particularly impressed by the works inside, among which it was really a mess to understand the works. Also because this is what a museum guard present told me that the labels were not placed near the works and therefore this made it a bit more complicated to understand these works but you had to read a leaflet that was given to you at the entrance.
then from my point of view, I saw quite boring things for example. There were many infrastructure projects or structures that were built in Trento, for example there was the project for a shopping centre which in my opinion was not very interesting and also the one for the University of Trento which yes is a bit particular but in my opinion it is not so interesting to put inside a museum.
It seemed like a useful museum to me. More than anything, perhaps for someone who is studying architecture who is a bit more in the sector and knows a bit more about things. I thought I would find a bit more contemporary art but they tell me that it is much nicer to visit when there are exhibitions which unfortunately there weren't during the period I went to.
I hope that the photos I shared were interesting and that maybe in the future they will have some exhibitions and therefore the place will be more interesting.
