Once in a while, we all need that small button of pause and recharge - a reset. My reset this time, was the Maravilla Beach.
Recently, I have been in a state where I haven't done something yet but my mind was already occupied with everything. I have a ton of work on my plate that needs to be done within a period of time. And if I let these things overwhelm me, I might feel pressured and stressed.
But you know what's funny? Instead of stressing out and burning the midnight oil to check off everything on my to-do list, I chose to take little breaks, enjoy life in between all the hustle and bustle, and of course, make these little breaks to freshen up and recharge mentally - A reset.
Luckily, we have easy access to beautiful beaches whose serenity and beauty can effortlessly wash away stress and fatigue. What's even better is that while I get to relax and take a breather, the kids have an absolute blast at the beach. It's a double win!
So this blog's breather is the beautiful part of Maravilla Beach. So come on, have a "breather" with me! Taraa! Let's Go!
Maravilla Beach
Maravilla Beach is the home of beautiful beaches in Tabuelan. With its long stretch of fine white sand and pristine sea, anyone can enjoy finding respite. However, the rise in the number of tourists that visit the beach has led to a spike in the cost of the cottages and the rent of tables and chairs.
In the past, we could easily get to the beach and enjoy its public seashore but now most of it has been developed and turned into private beach resorts requiring us to pay higher expenses. Bust rest assured, wherever corner of Maravilla Beach you will go you will surely enjoy its stunning beaches and get refreshed of its serenity.
Just last weekend, together with the kids we headed to the beach beside Playa del Carmelo of Maravilla. It's a simple beach resort with a few old bamboo cottages. I find it rustic and tropic because of the presence of plenty of coconut trees.
There were only a few people on the beach on that day so we were able to fully enjoy its beauty and the tranquility it exudes.
We rented a cottage that cost us 600 pesos (10.56 USD) which felt a bit pricey already (hehe) for me nature is fully enjoyed when it's free but I don't want to think of the price, I came here for an escape, to breathe, recharge and just to simply enjoy nature.
While my mother and father were busy preparing the food, the kids also had their best time rolling in the sand. Haha. We didn't allow them to go swim yet on their own because the waves were quite big and the sea a bit muddy due to the strong winds.

Meanwhile, I also take my time leisurely strolling along the stunning shoreline. I need to inhale all the beautiful and positive energy the beach has. lol
I've lost count of how many times I've visited Maravilla Beach, but without fail, each visit rejuvenates and energizes me. (I think every visitor feels the same) The mere sight of its lovely views, the sensation of the fine sand beneath my toes, and the solace of strolling under the shade of the coconut trees work their magic every time. Plus there's an unexpected bonus this time, a group of dove birds who also had a delightful time strolling on the beach. Hehe.
As I kept on strolling and filled my eyes with this beautiful view of nature I also felt relieved, my thoughts freed from so many things. Everything slowed. The sound of the waves, the sea breeze, the laughter of the kids, the distant ring of the ice cream vendor's bell, and yes the smell of the grilled fish. mhmmmmmm. - these simple pleasures are free. So I just enjoyed and felt this moment of perfect harmony of myself on the beach.
This was all I needed. A good reset.😍
How about you, where and what is your reset?
---That's all for my delightful reset and the kids' happy moments at the beach. Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoy it. I wish you all safe and well always.
Don't forget to smile often.😘😊🤗
