A little further, to our surprise, a Ferris wheel appeared in front of us.
In the immediate vicinity was a marina with boats, shops, restaurants, and in the background the mountain was visible.
While walking along the sidewalks, we came across a poster from which we learned that there was a themed restaurant in the area with an African program. It was interesting for us to combine our dinner with the show.
The restaurant was spacious, on two floors, and the stage was downstairs. We placed our food order, and shortly after the show began. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the performance, as the setting, music and actors were authentic. The attention of all customers was attracted by the performance of the dance formation.
During this time, our order came to the table. We chose different local specialties so that we could get to know their traditional cuisine. We were fascinated by both the food and the performance. The actors did an excellent job.
We all applauded after each scene. The actors were dressed in interesting costumes and their faces were decorated with paint. Videos were projected on the wall behind the stage, complementing the performance.
We were all enchanted and happy to have come across this place. The evening turned out to be more than great. We managed without planning to combine a delicious meal with an impressive performance. We definitely left the restaurant with a feeling of having spent a well-deserved time and getting to know the rich culture of South Africa :)
