Good afternoon, adventurous travel lovers who are always exploring new places to visit and visit, of course, and once again say hello to all #pinmapple friends, on this occasion I will return various stories or stories about my journey while climbing the mountain.
Alright friends, this time I will start publishing my post again about my journey climbing the mountain exploring the forest and spending the night or camping there, as usual we (me and our nature lover community friends) will climb Mount "Lhok Keutapang" Yes we do have a the community itself when traveling or climbing mountains. The name of our community is "KOPI" (Indrapuri Nature Lovers Community). This time we climbed the "Lhok Keutapang" mountain which is located in Lam Pageu Village, Kec. Peukan Bada, Aceh Besar District, Aceh
Mount "Lhok Keutapang" is a very viral mountain in this area, a mountain that is often visited by climbers which offers beautiful views, wide stalks of thatch grass and is surrounded by views of the hills and lots of places to fish, because actually the place we are going is the beach. at the foot of the mountain so to get there we have to climb the mountain first and then go down to the beach, that's how I can briefly describe this "Lhok Keutapang" mountain.
And the first time, of course, we have to prepare everything we need, starting from the preparation and our trip to Mount "Lhok Keutapang", about 2 weeks before leaving, we and other community members have planned and prepared all the needs and equipment needed. We have all the preparations listed and are ready, when we start traveling, the first trip from our camp post to the mountain slopes takes about 2 hours, and the trip to the mountain is around 1 pm by motorbike which can only be accessed up on the slopes or the foot of the mountain only. And later we will leave our vehicles or motorbikes in the housing of residents in the surrounding area.
Around 3 in the afternoon we arrived at the foot of the mountain where we were headed, when all the members had gathered at the gathering point and put all the motorbikes there then we would do the ascent, well as usual before climbing we all prayed led by the chairman, namely praying for safety on the way up.
After that we started climbing, and it is estimated that it will take 3 hours to get to our destination because of the terrain we have to climb and then go down the mountain, the terrain that is taken is quite difficult, there are many large rocks that must be traversed and also the slopes are quite steep. On the way, some members experienced cramps, tiredness and we rested for a while, and also treated members who were in pain. After resting for a while we started to travel again because it was about to enter sunset, our target had to get to the destination at around 7 pm.
And it didn't feel like it was already getting dark, we almost arrived at our destination and had already descended the mountainside and around 7 in the evening the members had arrived at our destination, then we rushed to set up tents and burn firewood because the weather was very cold, then continued with cooking together, tonight we just enjoy the night and rest in the tent.
And morning came, we rushed to tidy up and together headed to the beach and bathed there. It's very beautiful, the view of the blue ocean which is rocky and surrounded by mountains, all the tiredness when climbing has paid off with all the beauty of this scenery, a view that spoils our eyes as far as the eye can see. We also really enjoyed sea bathing here, and there were some members who also went fishing and cooked fishing rods on the beach sand. Really really fun.
After enjoying the beauty of the mountains and oceans as well as the excitement here, around 2 pm we decided to take a trip back home.
That's my story when climbing Mount "Lhok Keutapang", a very beautiful experience and we also hope that one day we can come back here again.
