DAYTIME ACTIVITIES
TAIWAN BREAKFAST
Start the day by eating breakfast like a local! I forgot the name of this place and it's location but it is just a small restaurant by the street. You will find a lot of options as you walk around Taipei. I've tried a couple but their dumplings in this place was so good! We also drank soymilk and ordered Danbing or egg crepe (the one in the silver plate). These are their usual breakfast here.
SNACK O'CLOCK
My friend said that there's this famous donut store that people go to in Taipei so we definitely had to try it as well! I have to warn you that there is a long queue for this fresh cripsy on the outisde but fluffy inside donut. It's cheap and a good try if you want local snacks/desserts.

STROLL AROUND
We spent a whole afternoon exploring this site because it was huge! There's just so much to see and do. There was a design center, a tobacco warehouse, museum, cafes, library, art galleries! It was once a Tobacco factory during the Japanese government but eventually they turned it into a cultural park where they organize different exhibits, performances and activities to promote their culture, arts and history.
When we went there, there was a bazaar or pop up stores in tents selling clothes, souvenirs, food and drinks, jewelries, toys and more. It was surely a nice place for a family day. After strolling around, we went to the mall just within the area to rest and get some drinks and obviously I got myself a Matcha which was one of the best that I tried.

LET'S SEE THE ANIMALS!
This was done on another day which requires half of your day. This is another activity you can try as a tourist especially if you have kids with you. The zoo was gigantic and the animals were well taken cared of. The park, the facilities, the roads were clean, as well as the animal's area. Compared to the other zoos that I went too, they had a bigger space for the animals where they can freely move and play around.

NIGHT TIME ACTIVITIES
PET CAFE
We went to this pet cafe where they take care of stray dogs and cats and get them ready for adoption. We had our dinner here while the dogs and cats were walking around, sitting beside us and waiting to be pet. I couldn't get a proper picture with the animals because everyone was playing with them already haha And I didn't want to overwhelm them. I only went to the dogs because I am a little bit scared of cats before (but not anymore hihi 😄 starting to like them already, thanks to the cat in my friend's place who was so kind to me, they can be the sweetest!). If you plan to come here, make sure to reserve a spot, they can get fully booked fast esp. dinner time and they also limit the people dining there.

UP FOR SOME NIGHT MARKET?
We took a picture at this popular Pride Crossing in Ximending which is also famous its the night market. Taiwan has been organizing annual parades and activities to celebrate the LGBTQ community. Again, I didn't have much pictures inside the night market because my hands were full holding food and drinks haha There are so many people here during the weekends so make sure to be mindful of your belongings and don't get lost! 😂

乾杯 (Kanpei!) CHEERS!
Ofcourse, we need to sit down, relax, talk and get drunk!!!! joking! Haahah We had some of their Taiwan beer and pizza. We ended up in this bar because my friend knows one of the staff here. You know that you really had a good time if you start talking and making friends with strangers! 🤣 So go and make friends, learn some Chinese words as well!

PAMPER TIME
What better way to end the day than to get a good massage! Massage there can be a little uncomfortable if you are not used to hard massage strokes. You can always tell them the pressure you want but I think their hands are used to hard strokes cause it's always been like that in all the massage parlors I went to. Like even if I said to make it a little soft, their soft is still hard. lol I think you get what I mean 🤣😅
Anyway, there's many massage parlors there you wouldn't have a hard time looking for one.
There's so much to do in Taiwan! Hope you'll try and enjoy some of my suggestions. See you on the next travel! 😘
