Hello everyone 🖐 I hope you are all well 😃
Today the rain finally let up a little and I was able to make my trip to Leça da Palmeira, according to the music of a Portuguese band, the most beautiful land in Portugal.
I confess that it is very beautiful as it is located in the municipality of Matosinhos and has a view of the sea.
Leça da Palmeira has very beautiful places to visit.
One of them is the very dignified Boa Nova Lighthouse.
The Boa Nova lighthouse also known as the Leça da Palmeira lighthouse.
The lighthouse is 46 meters high, has a tower shape, is white and its surface where it transmits the position light is red.
It is possible to take guided tours to the top of the lighthouse, but to get to the top you need a lot of breathing space and there are 225 steps.
Next to the lighthouse there is a building that is a small museum. There are some accessories from the lighthouse on display, it is also possible to visit this place.
Every Wednesday it is possible to make visits.
I decided to take a zoom photo to show you how beautiful he is.
It is located right next to the coast, so imagine how beautiful the view is.
You can see the sea, which was calm, and a container boat in the background.
Next to the lighthouse there is an iron sculpture, known as the sea line.
This structure is made of metal beams painted white.
I must say that it is a very controversial sculpture and has been vandalized several times.
Over time, the sculpture gets damaged paint and rust due to exposure to the weather.
As I love the sunset, I took advantage of the opportunity and photographed the imposing lighthouse with the contrasting sky in the background. It looked like someone had asked to paint the sky colors to contrast with the beautiful lighthouse.
However, I wasn't alone because the sunset by the sea attracts a lot of people who love to capture a beautiful sunset and enjoy a moment of relaxation after leaving work.
I believe I feel privileged to live in a country that can provide me with fantastic views and incredible sunsets.
In Leça da Palmeira there is a diversity of sculptures and buildings to visit, photograph and have a fantastic view of the sea. I confess that I am suspicious of so much adoration because I really like the sea and the beach.
One of these days I'm going to go up to the lighthouse, but of course I'm going to have to fill my lungs with lots of air 😂😅
I hope you enjoyed sharing, if it weren't for me to love photography, I'm always behind my camera. I don't like missing these little moments that life gives and sharing with the entire community of this little corner of mine called Portugal.
Still so much to explore and so much to show you.
See you in the morning and with a new post 😉
