We would pick up him and his wife to embark on a very special plan: to go see the largest nativity scene in the world, located in the municipality of Venecia, Antioquia. This beautiful town, surrounded by mountains and traditions, feels welcoming from the moment you arrive, with quiet streets and a very pleasant energy.

Before arriving at the nativity scene, we decided to have lunch. It was not easy to find a restaurant, as the town was full of visitors, but the wait was totally worth it: the food was delicious, reaffirming how tasty the local cuisine is and how friendly the locals are. With our stomachs full, we went to see the nativity scene, and I must say that I was really surprised by the genius and enormous effort behind this work.
At the end of the tour, we sat for a while in the main park. We shared a beer, chatted leisurely, and enjoyed the singing of the birds perched in the trees, creating an atmosphere of peace and relaxation. As evening fell, it was time to return, as I had to get up early for work and wanted to get a good night's sleep.

Buena noches amigos hivers. El día de ayer, aproximadamente al mediodía, salí junto a mis padres rumbo a la casa de un tío. Pasaríamos el y su esposa para emprender un plan muy especial; ir a conocer el pesebre más grande del mundo, ubicado en el municipio de Venecia, Antioquia. Este hermoso pueblo, rodeado de montañas y tradiciones, se siente acogedor desde el primer momento, con calles tranquilas y una energía muy agradable.
El pesebre es una verdadera obra de arte. Fue diseñado y construido por un ingeniero cuya creatividad y dedicación se reflejan en cada detalle. No se trata solo de su tamaño —que impresiona apenas uno lo ve— sino de la historia que cuenta, de la minuciosidad con la que recrea escenas llenas de vida, tradición y fe. Es un trabajo monumental que despierta admiración y orgullo, y que estará exhibido hasta el 16 de enero del próximo año, para que propios y visitantes puedan disfrutarlo.
Antes de llegar al pesebre, decidimos almorzar. No fue tarea fácil encontrar restaurante, pues el pueblo estaba lleno de visitantes, pero la espera valió totalmente la pena: la comida estuvo deliciosa, reafirmando lo sabrosa que es la gastronomía local y la amabilidad de sus habitantes. Ya con el estómago lleno, fuimos a ver el pesebre, y debo decir que quedé realmente sorprendido por la genialidad y el enorme esfuerzo detrás de esta obra.
Al finalizar el recorrido, nos sentamos un rato en el parque principal. Compartimos una cerveza, conversamos sin afán y disfrutamos del canto de las aves que se posaban en los árboles, creando un ambiente de paz y descanso. Con el caer de la tarde llegó la hora de regresar, pues en mi caso debía madrugar a trabajar y la idea era descansar bien.
