Breakfast ride! TCH to Maravilla. A sweet escape from sedulous work!
Hi! It's me again, Jam!
I would love to share my enjoyable breakfast ride together with my IT colleagues. Working in the IT industry is quite hectic, but when the workday ends, my passion for riding comes to kick in. Me and my colleagues decided to ride along the Transcentral Highway in Cebu, Philippines (TCH). TCH is known for being a popular motorcycle riding route with such a scenic mountain view.
Our call time is around 5:00 A.M. on Saturday morning. It was quite dim, cold and foggy outside, but our verge to ride was strong. We gathered at a well-known spot in Busay Cebu where you can meet all riders from different places.
Our starting point is at one of the famous gasoline stations named "SHELL" where people are flocking, including cyclists, riders, and even workers.
We reached our destination to a small, popular cafe which is called Pinetreehan Cafe. We enjoyed this spot so much as we had our cafe breakfast or "pamainit sa kabuntagon” in visayan language.
This spot is popular for its scenic views of green mountains that’s connecting from Cebu City to Balamban. It is known for providing a worry-free atmosphere that promotes a sense of well-being. If you are kind of person who always full of job and responsibilities, then this place is good for you. I swear it will ease your anxieties and depression.
This place is far from great, as you can hear the loud vehicles passing by on the highway.
Speaking of food, this is a fantastic place to relax and dine. I enjoy indulging in their affordable dishes while sipping their cheap but excellent coffee. Aside from food and coffee, if you are someone who enjoys cold beer, then this is the perfect spot to hang out. The owners are incredibly hospitable as well.
Very relaxing, right? I love coming here every week.
When we decided to head home, one of my colleagues suggested that if we continued our ride, we could visit Maravilla. Maravilla is a town known for its famous white sand beaches and clear waters in Cebu Province.
It was a long journey. However, there is no place like nature.
I enjoyed the scenery and the experience, as this was my first-time riding from TCH to Maravilla.
At last, after so many decades, LOL! We have finally reached our destination!
This time, we engaged in a variety of activities, including a picnic by the beach. Speaking of the picnic, I was responsible for the grilling. I grilled and prepared both pork and fish. Who loves eating grilled? Hands up! We also played card games while enjoying a cold beer. (Don’t worry, we took a nap for a while before heading home.)
It was a memorable experience! How about you? Do you enjoy riding?
Let's travel to Cebu and enjoy a breakfast ride together.
