Imagine a magnificent beach that is not crowded. You, your friends, and your family are enjoying the scenery and serenity of the place.
When we traveled to the Boracay of the North, we experienced that.
My uncle made preparations so that we could visit Anguib Beach and have the Boracay of the North all to ourselves in order to make our stay in Cagayan unforgettable.
Anguib Beach is referred to as the Boracay of the North because of their similarities, which made us incredibly excited!
My sister, my cousin, and I got the chance to take a road trip through Sta. Ana Cagayan before going to Anguib Beach. Spending my entire life in a city has increased my appreciation for nature.
I couldn't help but open the car window during the trip in order to appreciate the cool breeze and look at the stunning view.
My sister asked if we were almost there as we made our way to the beach. Even though it is cold inside the vehicle, she has been sweating.
We had no idea that she was about to drop a deuce. She had been told by our cousin not to drink the warm coffee that had gone cold earlier that day because she might experience stomach pain. She didn't listen.
We were on the search for a comfort room, but we failed to spot one along the way. We were fortunate to get to the entrance of Anguib Beach sooner than expected.
At the gate, our relatives' vehicles were waiting for us. My cousin explained to them that we needed to pause for a bit because my sister was going to leave something remarkable in the comfort room at the entrance. (if you know what I mean)
After a couple of minutes of waiting for my sister, we entered the resort. From the parking area, we had to walk for approximately two minutes before we arrived at the cottages where we stayed. The family's young adults enjoyed the walk while the elderly groaned.
The beach features pristine white sand, crystal-clear water, and a stunning view of the mountains in the distance, living up to its title - "Boracay of the North."
I was somewhat disappointed when I looked at the beach since there were barely noticeable and relatively tiny waves!
It was calm, and my small nieces and nephews loved it. There were neither bars nor food stands within the resort, so my aunt prepared some food for us to bring.
If you want to unwind, this area is ideal. Kayaking and island hopping are also available at the Anguib Beach resort!
While the young adults began to plot the choreography and positions for their TikTok dance, the young-at-heart adults began their picture-taking.
When it was time to go swimming, I set up my tripod along the shore to capture the timelapse of our time together at the beach.
Look at the images and try to guess what we're doing! Some of you probably do this as well.
We ate our prepared snacks after swimming and then played with the kids. There's my niece, who wanted to play with the sand. She's so adorable!
It took another 2 minutes to walk back to the parking lot. As we make our way to the parking lot, there's my cousin-in-law carrying my niece.
My niece was having a good time! Do you carry your kids this way, too?
On our way home, we decided to visit another beach nearby, but thatโs another story.
