Hello Everyone,
Here I am Damini coming with my another Travel blog. This time I am going share my 1st International Travel blog. I went to italy for my first time travel in abroad with my husband. We visited the best places of Italy. Now I am going to share some of the best memories we achieved from this tour.
Italy is a unique pilgrimage site for European heritage and art and culture. Italy is fascinated by ancient civilization and modernity, as well as beautiful beaches, numerous lakes and the Alps. Much of Italy's natural beauty is unknown to us. Today's article is about the most beautiful travel destinations in Italy that will make your trip to Italy easy and enjoyable.
When to go
The best time to travel to The European Countries is summer. That is from March to October but for special reasons we went to Italy in November last year. The months of October and November are autumn there. If one goes to Europe in October or November, one must take winter clothes.
How long to go
Usually most of us who travel to Europe aim to visit more countries in a short time, but if that is the case then the beauty of any country cannot be enjoyed in a good way. We spent one day in Italy, one day in Milan, two days in Lake Com, two days in Venice, three days in Florence, three days in Rome and three days in Naples.
Milan ( My Dream Place )
After a long flight, when we landed in the fashion capital of Italy, Milan, it was eight o'clock in the morning. It's hard to believe that you can't hide the terrible cold that can be hidden in a sunny morning. After checking in at the hotel, I somehow left with my bag because we only have today to visit the dream city of Milan. Leonardo da Vinci's mural ‘The Last Supper’ and Italy’s famous opera building La Scala are located here.
Lake Como
The next day, after breakfast, we set off for Lake Como, in the northern part of Italy, at the foot of Switzerland. This beautiful lake in Italy is formed near the green hills. Lake Como is one of the most elite and luxurious areas in the world.
The best way to get from Lake Milan to Lake Como is by train for 20 euros per person. I got off at Como Central Station and took the first rented car. Overnight stays at Lake Como range from £100 to £400. Our Airbnb was at Gravedona on Lake Como, just north of the lake. Despite the numerous attractions on Lake Como, we choose Gravedna because it offers a rare experience of seeing the beauty of Lake Como as well as the cool breezes of the Alps. By the time we reached Gravedna in our rented car, the sun had turned purple in the western sky. The red glow of the sun is reflected in the surrounding green hills. A group of white free clouds flying over the green hills. We enjoyed this eye-catching beauty with unblinking eyes.
Early the next morning we drove around in a rented car. There is no shortage of places to visit here. Lake Como has the opportunity to travel by speed boat or ferry and you can also enjoy the beauty of Como by walking along the side of the road. Scenic villages are Menaggio and Bellagio. The only mode of transport in Belgium is speedboat or ferry. So if you want to stay in Lake Como, never take it to Hotel Bellagio because you have to take a ferry to get out of the hotel. It is called the Most Picturesque Town in the Comoros for its colorful houses and shops. The most interesting place here is Villa Balbianello where movies like James Bond and Star Wars were shot. David Beckham- Victoria Beckham, Ranveer- Deepika celebrities have also got married here.
Venice ( City of Beauty )
Most tourists to Italy go to Venice. The beauty of Venice cannot be described in words. Venice is a picturesque city floating on the water where the only means of transportation is gondola or small dinghy boat.
Those who drive gondola are called gondola. This profession has been going on since the eleventh century. The rich used to go here and there in the canals of Venice in the gondola given six days ago. Luggage was also carried with this gondola. At present, the tradition of gondola survives only for a small number of tourists. Gondola costs 60 euros per person. And if the boatman asks someone to sing, he will hire a per person for 100 euros. And when you go to Venice, keep the address of the hotel with you because you will lose the way and this way is the uniqueness of Venice.
Tips: There are no corner cars in Venice, so take a hotel near the train station. Otherwise you will have to carry heavy bags yourself and the streets of Venice are not at all suitable for carrying bags.
Florence (Wonderful Place)
The train journey from Venice to Florence is a wonderful experience. The view on both sides of the road is full of rocky hills and greenery. Numerous long tunnels in the road. It is astonishing to think that this Florence, a small town in Italy, gave birth to modern civilization. I walked all day in the alleys of Florence in amazement. The quiet alleys seem to have gripped Greek or Roman civilization for so long. Michelangelo's immortal creation, David, is kept in Florence. If you want to see the panoramic view of the whole city of Florence, you have to take a bus to Piazza Michelangelo. And to see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, millions of tourists flock to Florence, which is a short distance from the main city.
Tuscany ( Garden City )
The towering castle and the beauty of the natural cypress tree will undoubtedly win your heart. The whole of rural Tuscany is a wine garden town, where it takes one to one and a half hours to drive from Florence. As we continued driving we came across Country Road 7. I was listening to the song "Take me Home" and it seemed that the song was probably made for this road. We drove ourselves to see the most beautiful Sienna and Chianti in Tuscany.
Napoli / Naples
The pizza and pasta that people all over the world are crazy about was born here. As you drive along the streets of Naples you will see the blue beauty of the Mediterranean Sea. The cities of Amalfi Coast, Ravello and Sorrento fall within the Campania region very close to Naples. Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Beach Side Area. That's why the hotels here are a little more expensive and the food here is a bit more expensive.
Because the Amalfi Coast is one of the most famous beach side areas in Italy. The village of Atrani on the Amalfi Coast is very much like Greece. If I were asked personally which part of Italy I liked best, I would say this is the Amalfi Coast.
Rome ( Mysterious City )
Just as Rome was not created in a day, Rome cannot be seen in a day. The old smell still floats in the atmosphere of Rome, the old mystery. It is such a famous city that people think of Italy, especially Rome. Rome is a decorated museum. As you walk down the street, you will feel as if you are walking past a museum. There is no shortage of things to see in Rome. Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Trastevere Street and Colosseum are one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Vatican City (Smallest One)
The next day we went to the museum in Vatican City, the smallest sovereign state in the world, located in the middle of Rome. Of course you have to buy a ticket on the internet or you have to stand in a long line for a mile. The sovereign ruler of this city is the pope, a Roman Catholic priest from all over the world. This smallest state has the largest church in the world, St. Peter's, which covers half of the state. If you go to the Vatican, do not miss the Sistine Chapel. Sistine Chapel, the pope's main chapel in the Vatican. The foundation of the chapel ceiling is painted by Michelangelo. Michelangelo's paintings of the sixteenth century are still impossibly alive.
Italian Food
Italian food is world famous. Italy is famous for everything from pizza, pasta, lasagna, pastries. Pizza costs 13 to 20 euros. The amount of pasta can range from 12 to 20 euros. I ate lasagna in Venice for 20 euros. Also the taste of Italiana gelato and coffee is mind boggling.
Hotels booking
Crowds of tourists visit Italy almost all year round. That is why there is no shortage of luxury hotels in the country of cultural abundance. Although the cost is a bit high, if you book in advance, you will get a standard hotel for 50 to 100 Euros.
Travel Advice
The most convenient way to travel in Italy is by train. Train costs vary according to speed and distance. For example, 14 euros per person to go from Milan to Como. Again 22 euros per person from Como to Venice. 60 euros per person from Venice to Rome. And public buses in Rome can cover the whole city for only 3 euros per person.
Italy is one of the worst-affected countries in Europe in this pandemic situation. After so many days of lockdown, Italy is back to normal life. Best wishes for this beautiful country.
- Note: The beauty of any place depends on the cleanliness of the place. So when we go somewhere, we must give utmost importance to the cleanliness and environment of the place.
