Hi Hivers, how are you today?
Today I want to take you back to my childhood, where my childhood memories are kept. Let's see the interesting things that I bring to you today!
I am a genuine country girl, where I live is a countryside surrounded by mountains and hills. People there live mainly on growing perennial industrial crops such as coffee, pepper, cocoa, rubber,...
My family is no exception, my parents are farmers. Farmers in my hometown spend all year round on the farm, so they don't have time to stay at home to take care of their children. Children in the countryside like me will mostly play at home with friends in the neighborhood. We find ways to create interesting games such as tug of war, skipping rope, blindfolded catching goats,... they are all folk games. It's not like the kids in the city like now can play electronic games or smartphones.
So for the children in my hometown, going to the park is a great joy. Near my house there is a park, say a park, but it's simply a campus with only 3 games: ferris wheel, horse kid ride and aeroplane kid ride. But that alone is enough for children like us to be filled with happiness. Every child here is looking forward to the holidays and New Year's Day to be taken to the park to play those games.
The park was located next to the primary school I attended, less than 2km from my house, it was very new and beautiful at that time. During my childhood years, this was a place that brought me a lot of joy and memories. The game is very small, so if you want to play, you will have to queue. Sitting on the ferris wheel to see the peaceful village from above is really worth the wait.
In my memory, this place used to be a bustling amusement park. There are plots of land that jut out and the guard uncle planted palm trees on this land and the children in the village called it the little mountain. We often play in the green grass here, the campus is also planted with a lot of trees. I've been playing at this park for over 15 years, but looking back now, it's just a ruin.
This park has been abandoned for a long time. Its builders did not repair the rusty ferris wheel. Time has made it old and degraded, but it remains there, silently and quietly watching the children grow up in my village.
Me and my childhood friends came back here to review old memories and did not forget to take pictures as a souvenir. Although these games are now unplayable, from a different perspective, this will be the place to create great photos with a mystical style. The rusty color of the iron and the ruins of this old park will add a bit of mystery to your photos. I even joked with my friends that the scenery here is ideal for shooting horror movies, guaranteed to be interesting and scary 😄.
I know, nowadays it is very easy to go to the park, besides the parks now have a lot of games for us to choose from. But for me, the small park near my house is still the best, the place that has brought me a lot of joy and happy laughter. Unfortunately, now it is very difficult to find the innocent and carefree joy of childhood. Busy life makes us get carried away and leave behind a lot of precious things. If you have the opportunity, you can visit and experience the mystery of this abandoned park.
