Are you looking for a tourist attraction this summer?
Or are you seeking for a place to spend your summer vacation?
Bogac Cold Spring is located in Barobo, Surigao del Sur. Bogac is derived from the Visayan word bogwak, which literally means "flow." The spring was used as a source of pure water by the early residents of Barobo. According to legend, Barobo is home to a large population of sping.

It was actually featured on National television.
This place is truly a paradise. The water is really chilly and transparent. Enchanted river is similar. The water is crystal clear and very cold, but you will grow to enjoy it. The water will rise around 2-3pm. And there is a lot of depth in the middle, so be careful. If you can swim, the better. But if not, you can also learn to swim here. However, a “salbabida" or lifejacket can also be rented.
It's a nice spot to hang out with friends and family. It's really great to spend time with them especially when its summer time. The water is so cool and refreshing, with an aqua blue color. The combination of clean, cold water and a pleasant ambiance is ideal for unwinding.
Both spring and summer are nice when they aren't too crowded, but they should be well-maintained because the area requires more maintenance at times. Despite the crowds, still, it's a fantastic spot to visit! Water that is crystal clear. Cold. Clean. It was well worth the swim!
During the summer, this is an ideal location. The water is cool and refreshing, as well as perfectly clear. The area is clean and well-kept. Because a lifeguard is on standby, safety is not a major worry.
It's a lovely spot to swim and cool off! Water that is crystal clear and ice cold! It was fantastic!
The ocean is perfect for exploring and discovering. Indeed, a must-see tourism location for family and friends!
Recommendation: Check the first high tide or low tide schedule. The spring is best enjoyed at high tide. Again, if you don't know how to swim, a life vest can be rented.
Food is available for purchase in the Barobo area. If you want to prepare anything or just buy something previously made, the market is easily accessible. They have easy access and a large parking lot.
To keep your goods or items together, you might rent an umbrella or a table. If you're just backpacking, however, you can put up a picnic table in the shade of adjacent trees (its free of charge but not allowed to eat near the swimming area).
This is a lovely location. It's close to the Barobo Highway, easy to find. The water is cool, making it an ideal cooling off spot on these hot summer days. Source: facebook
