Such a beautiful area
Rocky Mountain State Park is such an amazing place. The landscapes there are incredible. I wish that my camera was able to do this place justice because it is awe inspiring.
There is so much wildlife inside the park. 
It is pretty cool to be able to be so close to nature and see these animals in their natural habitat.
I just wanted to go up and touch these elk. Their massive antlers kept me away though. I didn't feel like getting stabbed with those things.
I am going to have to go back to the park in the spring or summer when there isn't any snow on the ground so I can actually hike around and see more animals.
We did get to see a few herds of elk, but that was about it for what we saw inside the park.
This one doesn't look too scary. I am sure if I ran up to it and jumped on its back, I could have rode it around for a while.
I was about to jump on it but then it turned and left, so I wasn't able to.
So instead, we drove around looking for some more animals, but we didn't have any luck finding them
We did find some amazing landscapes though.
I think next time I travel to this area, I am going to have to camp out in the park. That way, I am not tempted to leave the area and we can just be out in nature and explore.
These pictures don't really do this place justice. If you are able to travel to Colorado, make sure to stop by Rocky Mountain National Park, because it is well worth it. Hopefully if you do travel to it, you are able to see more animals than we did. We still had an amazing time there though.
