Museum Mini Sisa Hartaku
The mini museum of my remaining treasures is a museum built by a resident of a village at the foot of Mount Merapi that was affected by the eruption of Mount Merapi in 2010... Mr. Sudarmo and his family managed to survive the incident, but the house and its contents were damaged by hot lava from Mount Merapi. Then, to commemorate the tragic incident, Mr. Sudarmo built this museum displaying the old house and furniture that had been damaged by the eruption... In addition to furniture, this museum also displays the skeleton of a cow that was also a victim of the eruption.
Located in a village called Petung which is located at the foot of Mount Merapi, this museum is visited by many visitors... To go to the museum, you can ride a motorbike or car, but you can also ride a jeep that is widely rented around the foot of Mount Merapi. I came there with a group from my workplace, and we rode a jeep to this museum.
The entrance ticket price to the Sisa Hartaku mini museum is only IDR 10,000 for domestic tourists, while for foreign tourists the ticket fee is IDR 30,000. This price is quite cheap in my opinion... what do you think?
In addition to visiting the museum, we can also try various kinds of snacks. There are many vendors around the museum... there are snacks, heavy meals, drinks, and fruits. In addition, there are many accessory sellers too.
