Hello #Hive friends and greetings to the #HaveYouBeenHere community ! I want to share with you a little walk I did around the Recoleta neighborhood and in this case I will emphasize on this beautiful and gigantic architecture.
Hola amigos de #Hive y saludos a la comunidad de #HaveYouBeenHere ! Quiero compartir con ustedes un pequeño paseo que hice por el barrio de Recoleta y en este caso haré enfasis en esta hermosa y gigantesca arquitectura.
It is the faculty of engineering of the University of Buenos Aires and is called FIUBA. It is an impressive infrastructure located on Las Heras Avenue and it is one of the headquarters in the city since the other one is located in the neighborhood of San Telmo on Colón Avenue.
Se trata de la facultad de ingeniería de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y lleva por nombre FIUBA. Es una impresionante infraestructura ubicada en la Avenida Las Heras y es una de las sedes que hay en la ciudad ya que la otra sede se encuentra ubicada en el barrio de San Telmo en la Av. Colón.
I was always interested when I was a child and a student in pursuing a career in an institution of this magnitude simply because it is an infrastructure of this type.
This building, which is the headquarters on Las Heras Avenue, is built in a neo-gothic style and is the only non-religious monumental building in the city of Buenos Aires.
Siempre tuve el interés cuando era chico y estudiante de cursar alguna carrera en una institución de semejante magnitud simplemente por el hecho de ser una infraestructura de este tipo.
Este edificio que es la sede de la Avenida Las Heras tiene una construcción en un estilo neogótico y es la única edificación monumental de carácter no religioso de la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
This faculty offers several undergraduate courses such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, chemical engineering, computer engineering, petroleum engineering, among others.
The last one is closely related to the career I studied in Venezuela but at a technical level. I am a Gas Technology Technician, a relatively new career in the country at that time where it had an impressive boom but due to all the situations within the country I could not practice despite having done internships in PDVSA, Petroleos de Venezuela. The largest hydrocarbon company in the country and the main one.
En esta facultad se desarrollan diversas carreras de grados como lo son: ingeniería civil, ingeniería mecánica, ingeniería electrónica, ingeniería química, ingeniería en informática, ingeniería en petróleo, entre otras.
La última tiene mucha relación con la carrera que yo curse en Venezuela pero a nivel técnico. Yo soy Técnico Superior en Tecnología de Gas, una carrera relativamente nueva en el país para aquella época donde tenía un auge impresionante pero debido a todas las situaciones dentro del país no pude ejercer a pesar de haber realizado pasantías en PDVSA, Petróleos de Venezuela. La empresa de hidrocarburos más grande del país y la principal.
