OK Hivers probably not the resort I would normally choose but it was a bit last minute and booked on the way to Gatwick airport after being told the one I had planned to stay at has a food poisoning issue and I had been rebooked here.
It’s a bit out of Hurghada and on the road South near the Aquarium and about a 20 Minute drive from the airport . It’s very Egyptian marble floors pot plants and big rooms. The clocks in reception are a bit of a give away, Moscow-London—Cairo. But the staff are friendly and helpful.
Lots of Russians well not really lots as the place is fairly empty but most of the other guests seem to be Russian they do like their all inclusive resorts.
The resort design is very long and thin with two sets of pools and one with water slides.
I guess that’s where the Aqua Park comes from.
Besides the main pools there is a small shallow pool and a play park for kids.
There is also a menagerie which I find a little odd and disturbing, there is a strange collection of animals too a couple of ostriches, some monkeys, deer and peacocks.
There is a big buffet restaurant, pool bar near the beach and a coffee bar at the Aqua park pool.
The rooms are huge and the big aircon unit in the bedroom chills the whole place down very nicely.
And the living room is just as big I’m going have plenty of room.
At the far end of the resort is a man made small beach with a shop selling suntan lotion and beach toys. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from reception down to the beach the resort is that long.
and a harbour for a couple of the Day boats that they use for local diving.
Well Hivers I hope you enjoyed the look around my resort and home for the next week here in Hurghada.
