OK Hivers trip out today with my Camera and macro setup
It’s an Olympus OMD EM-1 MK2 with a Zuiko 60mm F Macro lens with a Godox TT350 flash and homemade diffuser hood.
I spent a good 2 hours wandering around the Butterfly park in Kuala Lumpur and took over 200 photos not all turned out OK the little buggers aren’t nailed down
but they do put fruit and flowers out for them to collect nectar from I didn’t see the ants when I was taking the photagraph.
One of the better places to take photos were the damp patches on the path where the butterfly rested for a cool off and a drink. One of the few times they were still.
The Park is a small botanical garden that has been netted over to keep the butterflies in.
There is lots of green shady paths with waterfalls and streams with carp in.
So Hivers here is a selection of the photos.
It wasn’t all butterflies I did see a couple of small dragonflies too.
And an ant on one of the flowers.
There were also a few more unusual critters the lizards were far to quick for me to catch but this chap didn’t seem to want to move.
If you get bored chasing butterflies there were plenty of nice flowers to photograph.
So there you have it Hivers if your in Kuala Lumpur and looking for a way to spend an few hours the Butterfly Park is a good bet and only 30 ringgit entry which is about £5 so it wont break the bank.
