Hi guys, how are you today?
Are you a sea lover? I am. I love going to the beach whether it's the sunny season or the rainy season. For me, in each different season, the sea has a different beauty. When I stand in front of the sea, I feel vast and free. Below is one of my favorite beaches near where I live, it's called Bai Ham. Ham means tunnel. This beach is so named because it is located near a tunnel where North-South trains run through. So when you come here, sometimes you will see trains running on the mountainside. It will also be a beautiful sight that you should not miss when coming here.
Bai Ham is a hidden beach at the foot of Hai Van Pass and about 15km from the city center. Since it is located quite far from the city, very few people come here. That's also the reason I like this beach, I like the quietness when coming to nature. To get here, you can park your vehicle at a beautiful cafe on Hai Van pass called Hai Van Vien. Then, following a small path, it will take you about 15 minutes to walk down to this beautiful beach.

In the summer, this is a favorite camping spot of mine. I don't remember how many times I've camped here with my friends. But every time I feel excited and different. The sand here is very long and smooth, so it is the perfect place for camping and organizing outdoor physical activities. In addition, the sea water here is also very clear and calm in the summer. I previously made a post about my overnight camping trip here.
This time I chose to visit this beach in winter because I wanted to see another beauty of it, one that carried the fury of the sea. During this season, the waves become fierce and strong continuously hitting the shore. It causes the sand to become narrower. The sand beach is usually 50-70m wide, now it is only a few meters wide. The golden sand is covered with white foam waves. The rocks are also subjected to the constant strong blows of the high waves. And of course no one will come here to camp this season. The beach became deserted.
However, I enjoyed admiring that angry beauty of the sea. The waves covered a white color at the foot of the green mountain. The high waves with sexy curves hit the rocks, making the water splashes like an endless fireworks display of nature. I got wet because a huge wave suddenly crashed against the cliff where I was. Unfortunately, I did not have time to capture that wave because it came so suddenly. But anyway, I was lucky enough to see it with my own eyes. When it arrived, I just stood watching with my mouth open, luckily I was able to put the camera in my bag.
Being alone with this beach on a winter afternoon like this, I really see its other beauty. I think its beauty is comparable to a girl's personality. In the summer, it's as gentle as a girl when she's with her lover, bringing a sense of peace and being a place everyone wants to go. On the contrary, in winter, it becomes jealous and angry like when a girl sees her lover with another girl. I think both of those things have their own beauty.
Below are the photos I took of this beach. Hope you enjoy them.
The plants I came across on the walk to the beach.
The sandy beach becomes much narrower because of the strong waves.
The waves have covered the entire beach with a white color.
The crashing waves and rocks create a majestic sight.
I enjoyed my time at the beach so much that I returned when it was already dark.
