Continued from the previous episode --
Now begins the steep descent from Jot pass. My head started spinning. Finally, guide Hemraj ji came forward and told me where to put my feet and where not to. I had to take each step with fear. Stones started slipping from under my feet. I reached down by 12.30 while chanting the name of Bhole Nath. From here, the path started with glaciers and boulders. I had to cross the river in between. Once while crossing the river, my foot slipped from the stone and went into the water. To maintain balance, I had to put the other foot in the water as well, due to which the icy water went into my shoe. My feet started getting numb due to the cold. The health of my fellow traveler Neeraj, who was coming behind, started deteriorating. He was having visual hallucinations. I encouraged him by asking him to eat some food and drink more water and asked the guide to come with him. I reached Kamal Kund at around 2.30 pm and after performing Puja, I started resting. Now the goal It was not far. I was feeling hungry and was managing with the dry fruits kept with me since morning. At 4 o'clock I ate Maggi at Gauri Kund and started waiting for my friends. After Neeraj and a few more people arrived, everyone decided to go to Shiv Kund and take rest as there was no exact information about who was coming behind or had returned. At 5 in the evening we moved towards Shiv Kund and now only 1.5km of the way was left. After reaching the top, we had the darshan of the Lord and paid our obeisance and decided on the place to stay. Stay and dinner for Rs. 300. The tent owner was a very gentle and well behaved person.
I had dinner by 8.30 and slept. I woke up at 1.30 am and Pappu (co-traveller) sat outside the tent wrapped in blankets with the hope of Mani Darshan. I did not have Mani Darshan but got the good fortune of contemplating God for 2.30 hours in the Brahma Muhurta. I went to sleep at 4.30 am. I woke up and got to know that Vaghela ji, Shailesh bhai and Joshi ji had reached Gauri Kund at 10 pm. I was happy to hear this. I did Puja at 8 pm and circumambulated the Shiv Kund. Coincidentally, today was also the Mas Shivratri. I had breakfast and took blessings from God to come again and left for Hadsar. I reached Hadsar at around 3 pm. The road broken due to the landslide had not been opened yet but pedestrians were somehow being allowed to cross it. When Neeraj and I reached the place of the landslide, the road builders had already placed dynamite to blast it. The blast meant that we would have to stay in Hadsar for a day. So I We requested them and the local people to let us go out and then blast. They agreed to our request. As soon as we left from there and sat in the jeep to go to Bharmour, they blasted. Now all our companions behind were trapped. On reaching Bharmour, we were 8 people and took two rooms near the bus stand. The party started in the evening. After dinner, we started looking for seats in the train to go home but there was no seat available in any train from Pathankot to Patna, there was no seat even through Delhi. Then both my friends Harsh ji and Jagdish ji from Uttarakhand asked us to go via Haridwar. Coincidentally, we got tickets from Pathankot to Haridwar and Haridwar to Patna. Maybe it was the call of Maa Ganga. The day was also a Monday of Sawan. When I got up in the morning and went to the bathroom, blood started coming out of my nose. I kept washing my nose but the blood was not stopping. I got scared for some time. Blood was spread all over the bathroom. First I calmed my mind, then cleaned the blood from the bathroom and went to sleep. I removed the pillow. The blood stopped after some time. I did not tell anyone about this because everyone would have got scared. Today we were all very happy that with the grace of Bholenath this arduous journey was completed and all the co-passengers will leave for their destinations safely. Those who are stuck in Hadsar will also ensure their onward journey or go home after a day. The mind was saddened thinking that all of us from 8 states are going to be separated now, but the joy of a successful journey was more. 7 of us had to go to Haridwar, in which Dinesh Bhai was from Rajasthan, Harsh Ji and Jagdish Ji were from Uttarakhand and four people (I, Neeraj, Pappu and Prem) were from Bihar. Devendra Bhaiya was going directly to his home in Delhi from Pathankot. We had come with the thought of roaming for 3-4 more days, but the pocket was not allowing. Bathed in Ganga at Haridwar, saw Mansa Mata's darshan and Ganga Aarti, and after resting for 4-5 hours in the Dharamshala, caught the train at night. On 10/08/2021, all of us reached our home in Bihar. Thus the journey was successful.

अब शुरू होती है जोत पास से एकदम सिधी खड़ी उतराई देखकर ही सर घुमने लगा, अन्त में गाइड हेमराज जी ने आगे आकर बताया कि कहा पैर रखना है कहा नहीं l एक एक कदम डर डर कर बढाना पर रहा था, पैर के निचे से पत्थर सरकने लगता था भोले नाथ का नाम लेते हुए 12.30 तक नीचे पहुचे l यहा से कही ग्लेशियर तो कही बोल्डर वाला रास्ता चालु हो गया बीच बीच में नदी पार करना पड़ रहा था एक बार तो नदी पार करते हुए पत्थर पर से पैर फ़िसल गया और पैर पानी में चला गया बैलेंस बनाने के लिए दुसरा पैर भी पानी में डालना पड़ा जिससे बर्फ़ीला पानी पुरा जूता में चला गया पैर ठंड से सुन्न होने लगा l पिछे आ रहे सहयात्री नीरज का तबीयत बिगड़ने लगा उसे दृश्यभ्रम हो रहा था l उसे कुछ भोजन करने व पानी ज्यादा पिने को कह उसका हौसला बढाया तथा गाइड को उसके साथ चलने को कहा l लगभग 2.30 बजे कमल कुंड पहुंच पुजा अर्चना कर आराम करने लगे अब लक्ष्य दुर न था l भुख लग रही थी सुबह से पास रखे सुखे मेवे से काम चला रहा था l 4 बजे गौरी कुंड मे मैगी खाया और साथीयो का राह तकने लगा नीरज व कुछ और लोगों के आ जाने के बाद सभी का विचार हुआ कि शिव कुंड चलकर आराम किया जाए, क्योंकि पिछे कौन आ रहा था या वापस लौट गया इसकी कोई सटीक जानकारी नहीं थी l शाम 5 बजे हम शिव कुंड की ओर बढ़ गये अब रास्ता मात्र 1.5km बचा था, उपर पहुंच कर भगवान को के दर्शन किये और नमन कर रुकने का स्थान तय किया 300/रु में रहना व रात्रि का भोजन l टेंट वाला बेहद सौम्य व सुशील व्यक्ति था l
8.30 तक भोजन कर सो गया रात्रि 1.30 बजे से उठकर मैं और पप्पू (सहयात्री) मनी दर्शन की आशा लेकर कम्बल ओढ़ टेंट के बाहर बैठ गया मनी दर्शन तो नहीं हुआ लेकिन ब्रह्म मुहुर्त में 2.30 घंटे भगवद चिन्तन करने का सौभाग्य मिला l सुबह 4.30 बजे जाकर सो गया l सोकर उठा तो पता चला कि वाघेला जी, शैलेश भाई तथा जोशी जी रात्रि 10 बजे गौरी कुंड पहुंच गए थे सुनकर मन प्रसन्न हो गया, 8 बजे पुजा कर शिव कुंड की परिक्रमा किया, संयोग से आज मास शिवरात्रि भी था l नास्ता कर दोबारा आने का भगवान से आशिर्वाद ले हड़सर के लिए निकल गए l लगभग 3 बजे हड़सर पहुंच गए l लैंडस्लाइड से टूटे रास्ते को अब तक चालु नहीं किया गया था लेकिन पैदल यात्री को किसी तरह पार कराया जा रहा था, जब मैं व नीरज लैंडस्लाइड वाले स्थान पर पहुचे तब सड़क बनाने वाले उस स्थान पर ब्लास्ट करने के लिए डायनामाइट लगा चुके थे, ब्लास्ट होने का मतलब था कि एक दिन हड़सर मे रुकना पड़ता सो मैं उनसे व लोकल लोगो से निवेदन किया कि हम लोगो को निकलने दे उसके बाद ब्लास्ट करे l उन्होंने हमारी बात मान लिया, वहा से निकलकर जैसे ही हम सभी भरमौर जाने के लिए जीप में बैठे ब्लास्ट कर दिया l अब हमारे पिछे के सभी साथी फ़स चुके थे l भरमौर पहुंच बस स्टैण्ड के पास ही दो रुम लिए हम 8 लोग थे l शाम मे पार्टी चला l रात भोजन कर घर जाने के लिए ट्रेन में सीट देखने लगे लेकिन पठानकोट से पटना की किसी ट्रेन में सीट उपलब्ध नहीं था, दिल्ली होकर भी सीट नहीं था तभी उत्तराखंड के दोनों मित्र हर्ष जी व जगदीश जी ने हरिद्वार होकर चलने को कहा संयोग पठानकोट से हरिद्वार तथा हरिद्वार से पटना का टिकट मिल गया l शायद माँ गंगा का बुलावा था दिन भी सावन का सोमवार था l सुबह उठकर जब मैं बाथरूम गया तभी नाक से खुन गिरने लगा मैं नाक धोता जा रहा था लेकिन खुन रुक ही नहीं रहा था, कुछ देर के लिए मै घबरा गया पुरे बाथरूम में खुन फ़ैला था, पहले अपने मन को शान्त किया फ़िर बाथरूम से खुन साफ़ कर जाकर सो गया तकिया हटा दिया कुछ देर मे खुन रुक गया l इस बाबत मैने किसी को नहीं बताया क्योंकि सभी घबरा आज हम सभी अतिप्रसन्न थे कि भोलेनाथ की कृपा से यह दुर्गम यात्रा सम्पूर्ण हुआ और सभी सहयात्री सकुशल अपने अपने गन्तव्य की ओर प्रस्थान करेगे l जो हड़सर मे फ़स गए हैं वे भी एक दिन बाद अपनी आगे की यात्रा या घर जाना सुनिश्चित करेंगे l 8 राज्यों के हम सभी साथी अब अलग होने वाले हैं ये सोचकर मन दुखी हो रहा था पर सफ़ल यात्रा की खुशी ज्यादा थी l हम 7 लोग को हरिद्वार जाना था जिसमे दिनेश भाई राजस्थान से. हर्ष जी व जगदीश जी उत्तराखंड से और चार लोग (मैं, नीरज, पप्पू व प्रेम) बिहार से थे l देवेंद्र भइया पठानकोट से सीधे अपने घर दिल्ली जा रहे थे l सोच कर तो आए थे कि 3-4 दिन और घुमते लेकिन जेब एलाउ नहीं कर रहा था l हरिद्वार मे गंगा स्नान किया, मनसा माता का दर्शन व गंगा आरती देखें और 4-5 घंटे धर्मशाला में आराम कर रात्रि में ट्रेन पकड़ लिए l 10/08/2021 को हम सभी बिहार अपने घर पहुंच गए l इस तरह यात्रा सफ़ल रही l
