Hello world. I just joined this community, so I will continue my sharing session starting from where I am living.
I moved to a small area in eastern Indonesia called Masohi. Masohi is a sub-district which is located in the district of Central Maluku, Maluku Province. Masohi city has an area that is not too large, about 3700 hectares with a lowland topography.

When I first set foot here, the area was very clean, and also quiet. Not too many passing vehicles. Very far from traffic jams like in big cities.
There are many wide sidewalks that make it easy for pedestrians to walk comfortably. Arrangement of access to pedestrians and parks is one of the advantages in this city.
There is also no mall here. There is only one shopping center called Pasar.
In Pasar, local residents are free to sell. Starting from vegetables and cooking ingredients, clothes, household appliances, carpentry tools to electronic devices.
The price of life in Masohi is quite high. The prices offered are quite expensive and the materials provided are incomplete. To find items that are needed but are not sold here, we usually do online shopping, but shipping costs to the Masohi area are quite expensive. But everything is worth the clean air and far from pollution.
In various public facilities from the field of education available from elementary school to high school. However, it is not yet common for education at the PAUD or preschool level. In the health sector, there are health centers or hospitals that can be accessed by the community. In the sports field, there is a sports center called Nusantara Sport Centre.
Many people do sports in the morning or evening but it is crowded on weekends.
In addition, in this city there are also terminals and ports if you want to travel to other areas. but the condition is not available all the time. If you want to travel, we must survey the operating hours of the vehicle.
There are various places to eat with the main menu mostly fish. The fish here are quite easy to find and still in fresh condition. The land surrounded by the ocean is an advantage in producing seafood. One of the favorite foods that must be tried is "ikan kuah kuning", a fish-based side dish with a yellow sauce that comes from turmeric and has Indonesian spices. People here combined the dish with processed sago, either “papeda” or “suami”. Papeda and suami are one of the staple foods of the Maluku people, made from sago. Papeda has a soft and chewy texture, white in color, while suami has a harder texture and can be chewed.
Living in an area like this is not easy. At first I only survived because I worked here. But now I survive because I have started to feel comfortable with the environment. Hopefully in the future, Masohi can develop even more.
That's all I have you been here. I hope in the future I can share more interesting experience. Thank you for reading my story.
