Good morning everyone, I am new to this community and I wanted to make my first post!

I am a young architect, musician and photographer with varied tastes, and here I want to show you one of my last trips in 2017, it was to the largest cable car in the world!

It is the cable car in Merida, Venezuela, it is the highest and longest in the world for only 500 meters, it has a 12.5 kilometer route, with a height of 4,765 meters above sea level, making it a great work of engineering. It goes from the city of Mérida to the top of Espejo peak within the Sierra Nevada National Park in the Venezuelan Andes, which is part of the Latin American Andean mountain range. ### It was one of the most interesting trips with these landscapes, the impeccable engineering work and the history that this cable car has. A curious fact is that from the highest station, where you can go out with a lot of cold and lack of oxygen, you can see in the distance the Montana Humboldt, where the last glacier in Venezuela is, it should be noted that my country will be the first in the world to lose all glaciers due to global warming. ### I could be talking for a while but in order not to make this post so lengthy, I leave you to enjoy some of the many pictures I took. Buen día a todos, soy nuevo en esta comunidad y quería hace mi primer post!

Soy un joven arquitecto, músico y fotógrafo con variados gustos, y aquí quiero ensenarles uno de mis últimos viajes en 2017, fue hacia el teleférico más grande del mundo!

Es el teleférico de merida, Venezuela, es el más alto y más largo del mundo por solo 500 metros, posee 12,5 kilómetros de trayecto, con una altura de 4.765 m.s.n.m, haciéndolo una gran obra de ingeniería. Va desde la ciudad de Mérida hasta la cima del pico Espejo dentro del parque nacional Sierra Nevada en los Andes venezolanos, el cual forma parte de la cordillera andina latinoamericana.

Fue de los viajes más interesantes con estos paisajes, la impecable labor de ingeniería y la historia que tiene este teleférico. Un dato curioso es que desde la estación más alta, a cual se puede salí hacia fuera con mucho frío y falta de oxígeno, se puede ver a la distancia la Montana Humboldt, dónde está el último glaciar de Venezuela, cabe destacar que mi país será el primero en el mundo por perder todos los glaciares por el calentamiento global.
