Buenos Aires es una ciudad cosmopolita. Aquí convergen nacionalidades de muchísimos países y hacen vida en la Argentina por la inmensa hospitalidad brindada por el país, dada su abierta política de inmigración consagrada en la constitución nacional. Así las cosas, no es raro escuchar en una misma calle varios idiomas al aire mientras caminas por las aceras de la urbe. Esta realidad podría confundir a los oídos menos entrenados, pero jamás existirá problemas de comunicación con los locales, dado que se impone el español como el idioma mayoritario. Nos encontramos en la mitad de la primavera y nos hemos tropezado con una ciudad fresca, con temperaturas promedio en los 23 °C.

Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan city. Nationalities from many countries converge here and live in Argentina because of the immense hospitality offered by the country, given its open immigration policy enshrined in the national constitution. Thus, it is not uncommon to hear several languages in the air on the same street as you walk along the sidewalks of the city. This reality could confuse the less trained ears, but there will never be any communication problems with the locals, since Spanish is the majority language. We are in the middle of spring and we have found ourselves in a cool city, with average temperatures of 23 °C (73 °F).

Hablar sobre una ciudad enorme que sea limpia, es un anacronismo hoy día, en las atestadas urbes del planeta. Sin embargo, Buenos Aires se las arregla para el manejo de los desechos y la realidad es que sus calles serían la envidia de muchas ciudades "turísticas". La amabilidad del argentino de a pie, da muestra de una cultura sólida. Por supuesto, conseguirá usted descocados como en todos lados, pero es el caso menos frecuente en sus aceras. El barrio Palermo es la zona escogida para nuestra estancia. Acá, una cantidad de árboles en las aceras dan cuenta de lo verde que es la ciudad e invita a caminar encima de los azulejos que dominan sus pisos. Es una linda experiencia de verdad, porque además te sientes seguro, dada la amplia presencia policial.

Talk of a huge city that is clean is an anachronism today, in the crowded cities of the planet. However, Buenos Aires manages to handle waste and the reality is that its streets would be the envy of many “tourist” cities. The friendliness of the average Argentinean is a sign of a solid culture. Of course, you will find some people with no sense of humor as everywhere, but this is the least common case in its sidewalks. The Palermo neighborhood is the zone chosen for our stay. Here, a lot of trees on the sidewalks show how green the city is and invites you to walk on the tiles that dominate its floors. It is a really nice experience, because you also feel safe, given the large police presence.

Hemos ya ido al cine en el Multiplex Belgrano, donde vimos el largometraje basado en la vida de Donald Trump "The Apprentice", recomendado ampliamente. También fuimos invitados por Hive account@stow01 a una sala de escape. Es una de las ofertas de entretenimiento más difundidas en la ciudad. Se trata de un juego de rol donde sigues pistas dentro de varios ambientes hasta dar con la solución de cada candado o cerradura, con la finalidad de salir del circuito antes del término de una hora de lo contrario, fracasarás en el intento. No fue la primera vez que lo hemos hecho, pero nos parece una manera diferente de pasar el tiempo y sería formidable que ésta alternativa existiera en Venezuela. Luego de ello, fuimos invitados por él a un asado y vaya que se lució a la parrilla el hombre, como si fuera ya un argentino experimentado.

We have already been to the movies at the Multiplex Belgrano, where we saw the feature film based on Donald Trump's life “The Apprentice”, highly recommended. We were also invited by Hive account@stow01 to an escape room. It is one of the most widespread entertainment offerings in the city. It is a role-playing game where you follow clues within various environments until you find the solution to each lock or lock, with the aim of leaving the circuit before the end of an hour, otherwise you will fail in the attempt. It was not the first time we have done it, but it seems to us a different way to pass the time and it would be great if this alternative existed in Venezuela. After that, we were invited by him to a barbecue and the man was really good at grilling, as if he was already an experienced Argentinean.

Otra característica del barrio Palermo es que todo está cerca. Cualquier necesidad del turista es cubierta con una amplia oferta de negocios: lavandería, supermercados, bares, discotecas, restaurantes, cafés, heladerías, ferreterías, en fin, un mundo de posibilidades que harán vuestra vida más cómoda. Algo notado en éste periplo, ha sido el cómo la inflación ha atacado la Argentina. Ya no es tan económico como antes hacer gastos en la calle. Los taxis han duplicado sus precios, los restaurantes también y hemos tenido que recurrir al supermercado para gastar menos dinero en comederos. Aún así, vale la pena venir porque los precios siguen siendo competitivos respecto a otras ciudades latinoamericanas. Y vos ¿Conoces la Argentina o tienes planes de venir? Another characteristic of the Palermo neighborhood is that everything is close by. Any need of the tourist is covered with a wide range of businesses: laundry, supermarkets, bars, discos, restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, hardware stores, in short, a world of possibilities that will make your life more comfortable. Something noticed in this trip has been how inflation has attacked Argentina. It is no longer as economical as it used to be to spend money on the street. Cabs have doubled their prices, restaurants have doubled their prices and we have had to resort to the supermarket to spend less money on food. Even so, it is worth coming because the prices are still competitive with other Latin American cities. Do you know Argentina or do you have plans to come? I'll read them in the comments.
